According to what I heard on Go Radio this is now the new name of the East Carter's Raider's Baseball field. I was really happy to hear this because J.P. has always been a class act. I remember him staying way into the night working on that field after everyone left. He took pride in the appearance of it. He truly is a tremendous fella and deserves this honor in my book. He is good at handing off the ball and dumping short but what will he do if he needs to go long ? Defenses will pick up on that quick. He really needs work when it comes to getting pressured too. IMO.

Who is going to be the Qb this year on the varsity squad ? I have heard a couple names thrown out there... Farley and McKee. ?:idunno:

Listened to some of this on the radio and it sounded like Raceland shot their self in the foot on this one. The mental mistakes will kill you.

I said it in a earlier thread and I'll say it again. No one IMO can stop the Rams from having a perfect season ...except the RAms. When the Raiders would play the Devils we always had it in the back of our minds that they were unbeatable. Alot of the time we were whipped before we began. THe Rams have the weapons to make this VERY ugly in Russell Friday night if they don't let it get in their heads. This is a big game for the Rams especially emotionally. My prediction ...... He had a good head on his shoulders for football. He also was a agent with the Farm Bureau here in Grayson,Ky. He touched a lot of people.

Found out this morning that Steve Clay (former Asst. Football Coach ) for East Carter had passed on. He had been battling cancer and bless his soul the battle has ended. Please keep his family in your prayers.

I believe that Raceland doesn't have anyone standing in their regular season scedule that can beat them... IMO ... Not taking anything away from other teams I just know the Rams can play some dang good ball. Raceland by a bunch in this game. Sorry Paris. RAM ... We are definitely re-building this year at East and the schedule so far we've had to face has been unreal. Fairview.... Raceland ... Mason... and now Russell at Russell. And to top it all off we still have to play Rowan and Belfry at Belfry.:creepy::creepy::creepy: You've got to love the irony of this year and this schedule . And next year we re-classify to 4A. :eek::eek::scared::eek::eek: We may .... MAY.... have a shot at winning 2 games this season. Personal fouls is killing us this year. We need to keep our heads. This is easy for me to say standing on the sidelines but you can't win if your going to hand your opponet 100 yards in penalties a game. I said from the start of this season even though it pained me to say it ... This was going to be a long season.

With my wife's surgery coming up my time on here is going to be severely limited. I will try and get on here at least a couple hours.

4 or 5 of the Eagles touchdowns came when East made mental mistakes and gave the ball to them with only 20yards or so to go for a touchdown. Having said that if ....if .... East wins this one I will be very pleasently shocked/surprised. I just pray we at least hang with the Rams for a little while. I guess it all starts 0-0. :thumb:

I'm afraid it is going to be a loooonnnngggg year this year for us East Carter fans. These boy's will also need and try to keep their cool. We had a few get nasty tonight and get some personal fouls called on them. Congrats. to the Eagles .... my wifes alma matar. Going to need some prozac before this seasons done.
