Eliott girls off to a 3-1 start. The best start they have had in years. They have a really tough schedule though. Was surprised by this win after Scott Co game. Figured they would be to tired to pull it out. Congrats lady lions.

Sounds like Elliott Coounty may be the real deal. A lot of athleticism on this team and definitely a fun team to watch. With their frantic style of play they will give some team fits. Good luck to Coach Cantrell and his Lady Lions for the rest of the season.

Congrads to the Lady Lions on 3 straight wins after an opening loss at Lexington Christian which is one of the top teams in the state. These girl's will make some noise in the All A and also the region. The Ferguson girl's are putting up some big numbers and just like the Ferguson on the boy's team they can really shot and score. They may even surprise everybody and win 20 games this year. Saw them against Morgan County and THEY CAN FLAT OUT PLAY. They can probably give the boy's team a better game than some of the region opponents. GO LADY LIONS!!! Another set of Lions in Sandy Hook wants everyone to know they can roar also.

This is a big win for the Lady Lions. Coach Romer and Cantrell have convinced the girls that they can play with anyone. The girls even got a right up by Mark Maynard in yesterdays Independent.
