Sounds like a good arrangement to me! This way a team will only play one game per day with time in-between to rest and rejuvinate. After all . . . these are kids.

Thanks for the compliment! I'm SO PROUD of all our kids. As far as the second statement, anyone who was at the game will know exactly what I was referring to . . . that Elliott County had the support of not only their loyal and longstanding fans . . . but the entire crowd at Rupp Arena.

Maybe Holmes doesn't have any legs left after playing Elliott.

It almost brought me to tears to see 2/3 of Rupp arena boo-ing in unison which is a true testament to our boys. This was the final high school game for J. Ferguson, Et. Faulkner, Ev. Faulkner, C. Knipp, J. Flannery and J. Morgan. I want to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of them for making the last 4 years such a treat. They are all wonderful kids and well deserving of the support and recognition they've received. It was also the final game for our senior cheerleaders (A. Dickerson, S. Daniels, M. Dennis, C. Turner, H. Kinster, K. Stamper, W. Pennington) who deserve our congratulations on bringing home the First Place Trophy for the cheerleading competition. You ended your season with the biggest win possible. CONGRATULATIONS ELLIOTT SENIORS!!!!!! I'm already going into withdrawl!!!!

Elliott by 12! I watched SV play and wasn't too impressed last night. Don't know if they were just getting their game feet or what but they'll sure have to step it up to stay in the game with the Elliott that hit the floor last night.

Now that I'm a little more at myself (though not too much at such an early hour after such a late night) I've got to say that Ferg and Ethan were AWESOME!! They definately proved to everyone at Rupp that they are well deserving of the awards and attention they've received this year. They scored, rebounded, and left it all on the floor. We're SO PROUD of each and every one of our Elliott boys!! Gotta give a nod to the nice young men (Lewis Co) sitting next to me. They came out to support the 16th region.

Just got in from the ballgame . . . what a LONG DAY and another one tomorrow!! :ylsuper: Gotta say . . . the place was PACKED!! I'm sure glad I purchased tickets back in January but I was still scrambling around for more tickets for the game tomorrow night (oops . . . I guess I mean tonight) since mom and dad will be making the trip to see the action!!

I'll be there with my hubby cheering on our Elliott Lions (and our daughter who will be cheering her heart out). We won't be arriving until Thur evening but will be at each and every game Elliott plays as we've done for the last 4 years!!!

I just don't understand that! Just because they sign with UK? Where's UK now . . . sitting at home-season OVER. Just because a kid signs with UK doesn't mean much anymore. IMO, Mr. Basketball should not be designated by the individual that signs with them.

The gym might only hold 1200 but with all the people standing in the lobby watching it on the TV and a full house in the performing arts center too . . . we pack WAY MORE in than just 1200!!
