Tough loss for the Rams. I saw on the game update thread where Rister was the QB tonight and Barr still isn't back. I'm sure Raceland will get it together before their district games. On the flip side, maybe Fleming County is pretty good this year?

Congratulations to Fleming Co.

Tough loss for the Rams. Keep your heads up.

Fleming County doesn't complete a pass until less than a minute to play; then Josh Gray to Preston Dugan for 44, then Chip Clark to Gray for a 15-yard score with 5 seconds to play.

Lots of miscues in this one, spotty officiating that was bad on both sides. Total yardage about even. Both teams look to have some work to do before district play.

Fleming County had nowhere to go but up from last years 1-9 record. The offense has been revamped to a ground attack. The defense has been adjusted to a more conventional cover scheme. HUGE win for the Panthers tonight who have been battling alot of injuries. Three of our penciled in starting offense linemen were out tonight because of injuries as well. The confidence should build after beating a good Raceland team.

Congrats to Fleming County an their fans on the win.

From the update thread.....With a 13-13 tie Raceland had the ball down on the 10yd. line late in the game and came away with no points. No excuse for that.

Fleming came back and scored with under a minute left to win the game. Congrats again to the Panthers :thumb:, you desreved it .....you stepped up and did what you had to do to win the game and we (Raceland) didn't.

Why did they replace Farley as QB? He had a great completion rate last week? I can't wait to see what Jacque Strap has to say about tonight's loss. :scared:

Rams, you let one get away this week. Keep your heads up and get re focused for rival GCHS next week, your first home game of the season. No other way to say it, you have alot of work to do. I still believe that you will step it up and get it done. Reach back and grab that extra Ram Pride and turn this season around starting next Friday at home vs. GCHS.

This is Gut Check time Rams.

I am not sure if Rister played the entire game at qb or not :idunno:. I saw on the update thread where he threw the first TD pass.

It was a well played game from both teams good luck to both teams. Hopefully we get all are starters back this week on the line

GO PANTHERS!!

Farley was out due to injury. One play hurt The rams tonight and it was just bad luck. Raceland player catches a screen turns inside, takes a big hit bends down takes another, he breaks both those tackles and keeps running and not a Fleming defender within 15 yards. But the Raceland players helmet came off in the hit so they stopped the play. Not saying it wouldve changed the game. But we did lose 6 points due to it.

Fleming Co. has alot to be proud of they never quit until the end. And I was surpsised at their size. They must feed them well out there! Congrats to the Panthers. As they go into a big rival game against Rowan next week.

As for the Rams. Get healthy! And turn it up a few notches! Because it doesn't get any easier these next few weeks!

Officiating in this game tonight was not very good at all. For both teams not just towards Raceland. I usually leave this part out and look past it. But their were times when they had no clue what to do and you could tell.

I'd also like to add Fleming missed out on making several turnovers. There were at least four different times were the ball hit their DB's in the hands and they dropped it. If they would've capitalized on those they couldve won by a bigger margin.

They probably forgot to stretch their fingers out.

Haha that may be true. They obviously didn't forget to stretch their legs though. There were some fast guys in that secondary! I believe number 23 was one of them. Very quick athlete.
