I figured the Rams would win this one by a wider margin, but the margin really doesn't matter at this point. Raceland is 2-0 in the district with 3 exciting games to go in the regular season schedule. Congratulations to Raceland. I am interested to hear if Barr finally saw some playing time.

Score bit of a suprise. thought Rams would win by 40.

This one makes 3 in a row for the Rams (now at 4-3). thought this one would be by a much wider margin as well. Raceland is now 2-0 in district play and looking at a meeting with Arch Rival (5th ranked in State Class A) Fairview next week.

I will be looking foward to hearing from some who were at this one on how Raceland played.

I thought so as well but I do know that Coach Vanderhoof will not run the score up on anyone and I have watched him trying to keep it down in blowouts on other occasiions in the past. This Raceland team sometimes has had "focus" issues. I don't know if that was the case here or not.

Starting tommorrow morning get your sights set on Fairview], the Eagles were ranked 5th in the state this past week and had a bye this week so they wil have had 2 weeks preparation for you. These guys (Fairview) I can promise are going to come into Ram Stadium expecting to beat you (and they should). They are having a very good season, are a very good football team and are confident they will be celebrating on your field come next Friday night. I personally have already hard some of the talk out of Eagle land. What say you?

Note: WKYT news just had Raceland/Paris highlights on and reported the score as 21-0.

 

At any rate the Rams get a Win and now it is on to next week.

Hey getting a little better every week.

Congratulations to Raceland

It was 21-0 Raceland. We made several mistakes in this game offensively. We had 4 TURNOVERS! Turnovers kill you in close games! We are still having problems scoring in the redzone as well. However, I do want to brag on the defense. They played very well tonight. Paris' offense could not get anything done against the rams defense. Especially through the air, the qb was bieng chased and pressured all night. Pretty good achievement for the rams since Paris did put up 22 against Fairview.

Still not playing like we did against East Carter yet.! But next week is the first real test in district play.

Take it home with you, sleep on it, and wake up seeing red!

We just can't get to clicking on offense. We had alot of poor throws. And I noticed a lot of the pass rts just wasn't being run. Some the receivers would slow down. Some would just go half speed. Hard for a Qb to throw a pass and complete it when they are going half speed. Barr run hard. He didn't get a lot of touches. But he would drag the defense down the field. He ran a sweep and turned on the burners to get into the end zone. The defense looked good. But our D-backs could have gotten burned three or four times if the QB could throw a little better. But we won and thats what counts. 2-0 in dist. play. And going for three. We just need to be focused and play hard friday night and we will be ok. I know that the coaching staff isn't pleased with the way we played on offense. I think we had two passes picked and two fumbles lost. 21-0 final
