I doubt very seriously that you will see him in action Saturday (or ever for the Frosh Rocks) versus Highlands since varsity travels to Nashville. Late night plus early morning, not good!

All very good points, except... In regards to the Trinity kicking game (and I'm winging it here without stats, only recollection); I'll give you that the Trinity punt team has been less than stellar actually punting the ball. But, the guys covering both punts and kickoffs (a unit that sees a lot of time) are exceptional imo. Crenshaw rarely hits the endzone, but his kickoffs routinely hit inside the five and with good height. Add to that, the fact that those guys covering get down field FAST and bring a load and you've got a pretty good kickoff unit imo. Return game pretty much speaks for its self!

Thanks. People are going to think what they want about Coach Beatty, for or against him, and there isn't a thing I, you or anybody else in Louisville or BGP can say to change their minds. That's the way it is and everyone needs to accept it. However, there is more to Trinity High School than its head football coach. There are thousands people (alumni, students, teachers, parents, and coaches included) who carry themselves with dignity, class, and respect on a daily basis (including the head football coach on most occasions).

I had the chance to see X a few times early in the season, including the first regular season match-up. I saw a team that wasn't sure how they were going to win football games. I have not seen them since, but from what I have read on here, in the paper, etc., it looks like they have found their identity: run the ball, play defense and win the special teams battle. Can they make enough plays in the passing game to keep T honest? We will see!

I'll start off by saying, I am a Trinity graduate, Class of 1994. SF, I completely agree with everything in your post. I was disappointed with Coach's decision and think he should have taken a knee in the final minute. At some point you have to take the high road, no matter how much another coach ticks you off.

Two freshman dressed last week versus LC, a WR (Cody Swabek) and the QB (Reggie Bonnafon) in question. Both saw action very late in the LC game. Starting QB in 2011? Who knows. It's 2010, enjoy the ride!

Off topic... I'm reminded of the opening scenes of Gladiator when one of Maximus' soldiers says people should know when they've been defeated/beaten. Maximus' response, "would you?".

I did take a while didn't it? A lot points equals a lot clock stoppages. Also, halftime was extended due to the injured Moeller player. No update on the young man from Moeller. I'll be sure to pass along any info as soon as it comes my way.

A few bright spots and one absolute star in Devonte Parker! Kid is ridiculously good, but I'm pretty sure everyone already knew that!

The Rocks took a 28-6 lead at the half. However, Moeller fought their way back to make it a game. Two 4th quarter touchdown passes from Reggie Bonnafon to Cody Swabek sealed it, the last coming with under two minutes to play. The Rock D held Moeller on downs to close it out! The Frosh Rocks finish the season Thursday night at Lexington Catholic.

I've been wanting to been wanting to chime in on this one. Senior leadership is senior leadership, whether there are 40 or 16 of them. Bottom line, these seniors have set the tone for this team! For what it's worth, I think 11 of the 16 are starters.

BGP is the only place I have seen that has the Trinity frosh scrimmaging tonight. They certainly aren't telling the Trinity frosh they are supposed to scrimmage. I guess they're going to pull the kids out of the weightroom after school and load them in the luggage compartment of the varsity team's buses and head north!:idunno:

The Trinity frosh will not be scrimmaging.

I know one kid's father was let go from his job here locally and moved to Oklahoma. Another kid gave up football to focus on basketball (no longer playing btw). I know of two kids who transferred, to where I don't know. One young man had to give up playing because of injury. Anyone on the other 54? Maybe they valued their time at the pool too much during the summer.

What part of "not saying you're wrong here" don't you understand? I'm not questioning you're knowledge if St. X athletics, I'm simply saying the roster online is not the current. Is it not? As to you're question to me, I haven't the slightest clue, but 69 and RP's responses were both pretty funny!:lol:

Trinity-Ballard. I think both schools genuinely like each other. This year should be a good one! :popcorn:

James can get so much better which is the scary part!! Travis Wright is #13 at QB and seems to have a pretty good hold on the #1 spot right now. Travis was the starter on the freshman team last year and comes from St. Patrick. Cody Wolfe is the transfer out of Florida and wears a #1 practice jersey.
