Trinity 56 Ballard 21

Excellent. Congrats Rocks District Champs again. Ballard is very talented.

Great win Rocks! This team keeps improving, which is to be expected given their extreme youth.

James Quicks kick off return for a TD was electrifying!!!!! ROCKS looking good.

Coach J was as classy as we knew he would be and Parker was as good as advertised with over 200 yds receiving.

Great win Rocks!! Awesome 2nd half!! Another District Title and playoff home field!!

GO ROCKS!!

T was up 35-21 with 8 minutes to go when B tries a fake punt on 4th and 15 on about their own 30. T stops them ansd scores one or two plays later. Then after the ensuing kickoff T pick-sixes B. T adds a rushing TD later. So the game was a lot closer than the final score might indicate. Parker , WR for Ballard , is very good. So is their other D1 signee, Flo Hardin (better on D than O, IMO). Parker gave T fits in the second half. Quick played well for T. I think that kid is coming on a bit.

Great win for the Rocks! Trinity was in controlled the entire game! Ballard had no answer for the ROCKS offense. The only time Trinity didn't score they shot themselves in the foot with penalties. Ballard has some great players. Parker is a stud. I almost picked the score (49-20). T is improving week by week.

Way too many penalties on the Rocks... that's gotta stop. Rushing attack was robust. Quick's kickoff return was the play of the game as Ballard had a little momentum going as there students chanted "we cant hear you" across the field... it was because we were busy watching Quick score. Ballard was well coached (except for that silly fake punt). Thought Coach B was going to bust some face veins when Ballard threw the forward lateral on the kickoff and all the refs missed it. lol

I suspect we could see this team again before its said and done.

Interesting. They'd have to win at St. X in the second round to get a rematch.

And that's a very real possibility. Not predicting it (yet) but it is a possibility.

Ballard and Male are the class of the Public Schools. Too bad the KHSAA couldn't see fit to put Ballard in our district instead of Manual. Coach J has a well disciplined team and the difference from that team and other publics is you never saw them quit. I hope we can continue to play them down the road, if not in the regualr season, I hope we get them in the playoffs.

Anybody else confused with the Ballard QB change in the second half. #10 seem to be effective. He can hurt you with his arm and legs. They stilled scored with #5 the pocket passer and then brought #10 back in when the game was over. I didn't get it.

Trinity's defense seemed to have have a hard time stopping Ballard at times. I for one am not sure I like the new defensive allignment, it appears that anyone can run up middle all night and the ROcks can't stop you.

The defensive backs seemed to do their best but the Parker kid is for real, and boy can he jump!

Where is the short man when we need him, did the fans get him run off?

How was a offensive player and coach chosen to coach the Rocks Defense.

Congrats to Trinity... impressive win against a first-rate opponent.
