So these are district coaches and players of the year. Not everyone gets to vote and these are, for the most part, 4 (and some 3) team districts. So in some cases, you are coach of the year over 2 other candidates who may not be eligible?

I believe they will play on Saturday since it's at Cov Cath. The game they played at Dixie was because of Cov Cath soccer.

While I was doing a little research, I came across Highlands has a 29 straight home playoff victory streak. The last time Highlands lost at home in the playoffs was 2005 against Lexington Catholic. Also, Highlands clinched its 60th winning season in a row with the win last night.

Dale Mueller went 250-36 at Highlands. Overall 309-67.

I agree but I don't think there should be 3 team districts and some others have 6 teams. Also don't like that all the teams don't make the playoffs. There needs to be a revamp of the system. I will say looking at the scores, there seemed to be more competitive games this year.

Yes that's much better. 2 of the 3 playoff teams in District 6 is a combined 1-19. Definitely screams awarded for a great season.

Just about every school district has the ability to have students who live out of district. Are you upset Boone Coumty schools don't have that ability. That sounds like a problem with Boone County, not Catholic schools.

Or a one win team is the 2 seed and hosts a "playoff" game. The KHSAA either needs to let every team in and call it a post-season or make the playoffs a reward for a good season.

I think Saturday is going to be a nightmare from a logistics standpoint. How is parking around Western? Will it be full from the WKY game? Will there be room for tailgating for the state games. Though it would be cool to get there real early, tailgate for the WKY game, then watch the WKY game and the state games.
