January 10, 201214 yr I have been thinking about this some prior to tonight's game and have thought about this a lot more after seeing the SEC commercial tonight about how the last 5 champs came out of the SEC and how it would tonight, which Toothpick made a thread about. I'm thinking at least a couple of years, maybe more. Thoughts?
January 10, 201214 yr Author USC will have a great chance to try next year. If anyone has a chance to do it next season, I'd say they are the only team. I don't believe that anyone else is remotely close. Edited January 10, 201214 yr by hrcarrier
January 10, 201214 yr At the least, I think the best SEC team, even if is a two-loss SEC team, deserves an automatic bid, regardless of the rest.
January 10, 201214 yr I would not be surprised to see Urban win one for OSU but it will take him a while. Another non SEC team will probably win before then. Texas? OU? USC? Not sure who.
January 10, 201214 yr I heard that a non SEC school might win one in 2050 based on a astronomical alignment that is predicted
January 10, 201214 yr Bama and LSU have to be the early favorites next year. With USC, OU, and Ok St behind them.
January 10, 201214 yr I think Ohio State will be in the hunt after a couple years with Meyer. So do I..If Meyer is hungry like he was when he first got to Florida the Bucks will be in the conversation...
January 10, 201214 yr I also thought USC. LSU needs a QB, and we lose too many guys on defense and really offense too. All Kickers return. We will score more next year but it also depends on how many Juniors we have turn Pro. Wisconsin might be really good and someone said the Ducks.
January 10, 201214 yr The USC Trojans will be right there next year. They should have had the shot with Florida in 2008, instead of Oklahoma.
January 10, 201214 yr Oregon or USC will next year IMO. Everyone in the SEC will not be as good, with the possible exception of LSU. Arky would be a trendy pick in the SEC if they had some of those WRs coming back. Bama will be good, but needs to retool a little bit. UGA and USCe are what they are. UF is down.
