January 8, 201313 yr One of the more amazing streaks in my lifetime is that the SEC has won this many titles in a row. That is super difficult to do in today's college football landscape. The fact there has been an SEC representative in all the games is an amazing streak, but to think they have won every time is unreal. What I said earlier has held true during this time: It is funny because last week on a show they were saying how top offensive talent is going to all places across the country. However, the SEC lands all the top shelf defensive talent. Boring, but not a coincidence as to why they have dominated.
January 8, 201313 yr I am one of the dummies that thought this was all about the upcoming year and read through the whole darn thing. I even edited this post to say that LSU was losing to many players in the draft to win it all next year. Sleep deprived!!!!!!

January 8, 201313 yr Bad part is I did not think that was all that great of an Alabama team. Their defense was vulnerable all season and I thought Golson had flashed where he showed as such in the secondary. And still dominated. Two seasons ago Oregon and their high flying attack took on a mediocre to bad Auburn defense and were held in check the entire game. They couldn't block them up front. I thought that was the best shot of ending the streak. Same thing pretty much happened to Oklahoma five seasons ago.

January 9, 201313 yr TOSU would be my guess. They have one of the easiest roads to the championship but their last 2 appearances don't give them much hope of winning....overmatched.
January 9, 201313 yr They have one of the easiest roads to the championship but their last 2 appearances don't give them much hope of winning....overmatched. You do make a good point. Against Florida and ????? (I forget who the other was, could someone help out), OSU was simply outclassed. However, I look at Urban Meyer similar to how I look at Nick Saban, those two know how to recruit the best players and coach them to the highest levels. So, in this case, I don't look at OSU past to be indicative of their future. OSU could be very, very good in the upcoming years.
