Could Oklahoma State & LSU be interesting?

 

No, Oklahoma State's defense is nowhere near good enough.

Bama needed this one at home a lot more than LSU.

 

I think so too, it will probably make a difference when the end of the season gets here.

There is no way that anyone will be able to convince me that these two teams are not far and away the best two in the country.

 

Watching the Oklahoma St / Kansas St game felt similar to watching two of my buddies playing NCAA12 on Playstation.

Great game tonight, but I don't want to see a replay of this game in the BCS National Championship game for these reasons.

#1. If you can't defend your home turf, you shouldn't get a 2nd chance.

#2. If you can't win your conference championship how can you be a National Champion?

 

With that thought in mind, it's now on to the BCS NC game for LSU and the Sugar Bowl for Bama!

I can't stand kickers! Two teams physically beat the crap out of each other all game + it comes down to kickers! That said I don't see how a program like Bama has 2 kickers + 1 of them is 1 of 5 from 40 yds out! Bama is the better team I think but you can't let teams hang around. Both defenses amazing! Richardson a stud! Wish they'd play again but doubt it happens. LSU D vs Okl St Off + Bama D vs Luck is interesting. I think the SEC prevails in both of those games though.

I actually had to rewind the DVR when I saw this shot. Dude is probably sucking his thumb under the covers right now.

Alabama's missed field goals were big factors, but I think the biggest one was on their coaches putting the injured player in to return/field the last punt. If not for that play, the Tide could of had pretty good field position. I did enjoy seeing Saban cry and moan about it when called out by the reporters.

With Luck specifically, my guess is has to do with academics.

 

Plus Alabama's style of play isn't exciting for high school quarterbacks. Their QBs are generally game managers, which isn't fun to high school quarterbacks outside of Alabama. Offensively, they want the huge linemen and bruising backs.

Probably the two best teams but my problem on a rematch is this. LSU plays in Conference championship and wins and they they play Alabama again in BCS game. Alabama wins by by a slight margin. Now they are one win apiece. How can Bama be named National Champ?

Do you take undefeated Boise over Bama? If Stanford and Ok St. Loses.

A rematch would put the two best teams in the country against each other. But Alabama doesn't deserve it. They had their chance. Let someone else have a shot at an SEC club. Bama was a home team, moved the ball better than LSU and didn't get it done.
