Sure it would be interesting. High-flying offense against a stud-filled defense.

 

I don't see it. I really don't see anyone out of the SEC (maybe Stanford) that could compete on the same level with LSU or Bama.

I'm always stunned at two of the top programs in the country not being able to come up with stud QBs.

 

McCarron simply isn't ready yet and the two-headed monster for LSU stunk it up as well.

 

NFL players on both Ds though. Lots of them.

I feel both are very close to each other in terms of their caliber. I just felt that Alabama's defense shut down LSU and their offense also played better for most of the game. It just came down to where the Alabama kicker had to put up some points is where they failed.

To be fair to the Bama kicker he didn't exactly get many gimmes. The offense left him with 45+.

OT is not the time to come up with an awful offensive series (including breaking the huddle with 12 men).

True, however I felt he should've made at least one though. Didn't he miss a 35-yarder for his first FG attempt of the game though? That one I thought he should've absolutely nailed.
