This is my best and most favorite turntable I have.It has a Shure MD3 Cartridge that was made in the late 1950s.The Turntable was made around 1977-1978 at a cost of $1200.00.It plays two speeds 33/45... This turntable was made between 1985-1990 at a retail price of $500.00. One of the best turntables made in the late 1980s. I believe this one was made around 1971-1972.I'm not sure about the list price. ADopted ADmiral Posted July 26, 2011 Author Share Posted July 26, 2011 Philco turntable model # ?...Not sure about the cartridge But you can flip the stylus to play LP or 78.Plays speeds 16/33/45/78.This is a good turntable to play old beat up 78s on.I would think this turntable was made in the early 1960s. ADopted ADmiral Posted December 4, 2011 Author Share Posted December 4, 2011 I picked this baby up a couple months ago.A Philips GA 212 electronic turntable made in Holland,with a nice empire cartridge. It cost me about $25 in restaurant food trade and a $50 upgrade package I got from ebay...I had to change a $2 capacitor and I had to adjust a few pitch control options on the electronics board.Man this table sounds so nice...
