Can't say enough about the game that Queto pitched, absolutely great outing. Even though his pitch count was up there I was questioning pulling him when he did, especially after the 7th inning that Queto had.

I am glad that the bullpen came through, great pitching.

Excellent win. May be the best all around victory of the year.

Gomes is very well spoken. Good to see him coming around.

The Reds won this one with their arms but they did get some clutch hitting tonight. I was glad to see Gomes hitting, 3 hits with a clutch hit and game winning rbi. Yes, he can make you wonder at times but I can't help but like him. Votto and B.P. wih 2 hits each.

This series is going to have to have excellent pitching, the Giants pitching speaks for itself so the Reds can't afford to get behind much.

 

On a side note it was great to see S.F present Renteria with his W.S. ring, that was class.

Do these guys never learn how to bunt in the minors or anywhere else for that matter? If they absolutely needed a bunt to be put down could Stubbs or Bruce get one down?

I can kind of understand Bruce not being able to, but he should be able to. However Stubbs should be the best bunter on the team.

I think Stubbs is working on it and is capable. He has at least one bunt hit this year that I recall. Bruce is never going to be asked to put down a bunt.

This guy takes FOREVER in between pitches. This might be a 4 hour game. Good lord. Thankfully Wood works pretty fast.

I've never seen a team walk so many batters...Especially in the 9th on the road in a pitchers friendly park let them hit it somewhere before you walk the bases juiced...
