November 28, 201015 yr USC WR drops wide open TD pass and the Irish hang on for the victory. That was mega-awful. I couldn't believe that when I saw it. He could have walked backwards into the end zone had he caught it.
November 28, 201015 yr The win will preserve Kelly's job. You can lose to Navy and Tulsa, but if you beat USC your job is safe. I am so disappointed in USC. I don't care whether Barkley was out and it was pouring rain or not, the line should have been able to shove ND around. Mitch Mustain looked flat out awful. We have fallen very far, and the Pac-10 is only getting stronger.

USC's bad luck was preceded by good luck when the ND defender (#22, I think) slipped and fell down. That is why he was wide open. These things balance out.

I really like what BK has done, their defense is playing great right now. That TD by USC wasn't on the D. If the D can keep it up and BK gets his offense going, watch out!

I really like what BK has done, their defense is playing great right now. That TD by USC wasn't on the D. If the D can keep it up and BK gets his offense going, watch out! People should enjoy taking their shots now when they can, and talk about how BK made the wrong choice and all that. However I have seen some very positive things on the football field the last few weeks by them. They are getting better now. If they go win their bowl game, then they are ending the season on a good note, and could build off that.
