We have plenty of our own talent :irked:. We do have a couple of families that have opted to stay clear of the CC coaching carousel and administration circus to come to a school with strong academic standards.:sssh:

Why all the ignorance and arrogance? I was simply pointing out you can't have it both ways. I thought the way HHS out worked, trained, lifted, hustled, etc everyone you play and that everyone else just needs to get better enrollment numbers were a mute point. The funniest part of dealing with you and talking about academic standards is that you never attended HHS.

I sense some jealously of the level of success our program has and what others have always strived for but only to fall short. We are on top and we'll always be. Have fun looking up at us for years to come.

Seriously folks, you guys have a great program and a great school. Just start acknowledging that transfers play a large part in the athleteic successes. I really think that is all anyone is looking for. You never have and never will so why I'm wasting my breath I never know. :isurrender:

That surprises me, I figured 4A would be a little tougher fit with Boyle County, Bell County, Lex Cath, and Lone Oak.

People come to Highlands because they are the best football program around and if you want to excel to the fullest extent in football you come to Highlands. We dont go get them, they come to us! :thumb:

Campbell Co has lost alot of good athletes throughout the years to Highlands, Beechwood, and CovCath. I am a Highlands grad and played football. I married a county girl and lived out by AJ Jolly for 12 years. I have two boys that went to St Mary's and probably would have gone to Brossart if we had stayed there. I use to take the kids to the Camels games once in awhile and the kids weren't to interested in football at the time. I decided to take them to a Highland's game during the J-lo and Smith era( yes these were transfers), my kids became hooked after seeing the atmosphere at the game. The kids the next year played in the FTJFL the next year and the rest is history. Never a option to play for the Red Devils, too much screaming and not enough teaching for my liking.

Stop reminding me:thumb: I married one and she was involved in athletics so we wanted to keep the 2nd generation going on the mother side:lol: Academics I am not so sure . I did escape the FFA (Future Farmers of America) club (a bonus). Any parent wants more opportunities for their child than they had:thumb:

The FTJFL is a huge part of Highlands' success and I suspect it is why quite a few out of district kids end up at Highlands. But more than that, the fact that kids learn football in a fun way, get coached, get to play in games every week ... no place else in N. Ky. and maybe the state does it that way. I doubt you see anywhere near as many kids quitting football at young ages there like they do elsewhere.
