I am pretty sure they were told to foul or the player may have misunderstood an instruction. Here is a therory. In the heat of battle, one minute in the fourth qtr and a tie game. Is there any possible way that Clark could have looked at the scoreboard and saw the Vistors hand 4 fouls and thought that was their total. They are always visitors when they come to the fieldhouse. Is this a possibility? I can't believe they would foul in that situation.

Anyone notice in the 5th picture down in the bleachers under the basket? It's Coach Feldhaus and Feldhaus Jr. the man that started the Royal Dynasty and Jr. a member of that first State Tournament team. Pretty cool!

Yes, I am, and hes was giving signals and shouting but I don't know what it meant. Then the next action was the foul. The player might have missed a signal but it truly was strange to foul our best FT shooter.

Over the past couple of years one thing that I have noticed in the tenth as far as coaching goes is O'hearn knows how to win period. Humphries seems to be a great coach as far as instruction goes (Zollo has definitely improved as has Stenzel since he got there), but seems to be at best an average in game coach. He has had the best talent in the region for two years in a year and has been beaten in the finals.

 

To all the posts about playing at the Fieldhouse. It is an advantage for Mason, but it is what it is and it won't be changed anytime soon.

 

Best of luck to the Royals in the tourney and to both teams next year.

#40 looks like a 35 yr old man. I cant believe how mature some of these kids look.

The AD probably does not have time to put it in the trophy case since he did not have time to sell advance tickets. That amazed me!!!!:idunno::idunno::idunno:

Maybe he knows what happened to PC fans a few years ago that bought tickets at school and then couldn't get in. There were some mad people and I don't blame them. It was probably better to wait and get them at the door and you know you will get in for sure.
