Okay Daddy's turn again. I was sitting right next to the MC cheering section 2 rows behind Danny Weddle, who was sitting right next to Clark Co.'s Coach. MC's principal was over in the cheering section numerous times. I didn't see any water being thrown any where. Period. Goldie, if I'm correct I saw you sitting mid court across from me. So I would have had a front row seat to any of this, much better than your view. In addition my son was in that mix and you can trust in the fact that if I had seen it, I would have pulled him out and kicked a part of his anatomy that I can't type on this site without being banned, plus any of his friends surrounding him. Oh and by the way 2 of the principal's kids were on the front row and you can bet he won't tolerate that behavior.

 

Secondly. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I know I'm not, Bart Lennox the same ref that made a very controversial call (over and back) in a regional final between these 2 schools a few years back. Seems to me like the GRC fans thought that call was wonderful and the Mason fans thought it was bad. Now the situation is reversed. You take the good with the bad. That is basketball folks.

Heck, there were three guys sitting on the top row of the bottom section on the MC side that acted like 3rd graders everytime something didn't go both ways. And I'm afraid to say, you know who you are. You should be embarrassed at your behavior, especially in front of young children.

No that is just normal and the reason why Mason's students don't show up throughout the season. They also have Fred Hester watching them like a hawk. If it hadn't been for Jordan Gilbert asking for support on facebook and getting the ball rolling, they wouldn't have had near the turnout during tourny time. It's really quite sad. The fun has been taken out of it for them. Don't get me wrong, I would never tolerate the things they've been accused of but I don't see a thing wrong with good old fashioned fun. Just another reason why I know it's not true.

It is true, I would not have posted it if it wasn't. I know the rules.

 

I beleive many student sections could take lessons from Covington Catholics. They are a joy to watch. They support their team.

Appleman is so harsh and strict on the cheering section that a lot of times he is the reason why kids don't come out and support. Sunrise sorry to bust your bubble but you are putting false information on here, your information is flat out wrong. You are breaking rule number 6. NO student spit on any player and no student threw drinks at your coach. You lost, get over it!

And exactly what statement are they trying to make. You are arguing about class, this,that, and the other. Personally, to me, that shows ZERO class.

 

What does the trophy have to do with you? Are you the trophy watch person or something? I'm confused as to why this has anything to do with Mason county if they made a statement by leaving the trophy. Get over yourself your opinion really has no bearing on this at all!

Let's face it, not switching benches was a poor decision, perhaps even dangerous. Coach's should not be able to make that call in the future. If they do want that bench a buffer zone needs to be established.

 

Reference to Cov Cath, my team. 4 administrators patrol the students throughout the big games. Zero tolerance for bad behavior. They draw a line on the floor and no one crosses it without their permission. If they were right behind an opponents bench I predict they would scream and shout too because that is what they like to do. Spitting, nah and if it did occur here it was by some punk not the overall student section.

 

I was actually impressed with both teams students and their self control. Fans too. You have something really special going on in that Region and a little common sense could prevent some silliness from occuring in the future.

 

Players were quite frankly some of the best sportsmen I have seen especially with all that was on the line.

 

And finally if someone handed me that second place trophy I would leave it for the janitor too.

Mr Appleman stood under the basket behind the cheerleaders for the last few minutes of the game. Early in the game he was pushing students back into their seats. One man was not enough to control that crowd.

My opinion is exactly my opinion. I can say as I feel as long as I stay within the guidelines. I do not need you bashing me.:puke:

I know for a fact that the MC team trainer washed that jersey today so that it could be returned. I was also told that Fred Hester was taking the trophy to Winchester. I guess these are just other examples of poor administration and sportsmanship. :isurrender:

 

Oh and by the way, it sure was a joy to sit and watch that perfect student section from Clark County. If only everyone could be so wonderful. Oh well, there is always next year and maybe we won't cancel the regular season game and I'll get to go see them at home. :lol:
