If the NCAA/SEC wants to curtail the throwing of objects onto the court, then do away with the puny fines and start taking away scholarships. That would get the fans' and coaches' attention.

Jim Shue and Rockpride among others would be at every UK game throwing stuff on the floor...:sssh:

Where are all of the non-UK fans praising Cousins for keeping his head and not being a thug? :p

I like Vanardo, but he cried and whined after EVERY foul was called on him. As bad of officiating as their were, his were pretty good calls...if Boogie does that people bash him for immaturity...I don't get it.

You mean the ones who said he should be suspended?

I have had my fill of Sandstorm and Zombie Nation.

I did notice that out of Varnardo as well, and didn't expect it out of him. He was practically crying on the bench.

I agree. And his 4th foul was when I noticed it the most out of him. He practically hacked off Patterson's arm but I guess he didn't think he touched him?

Probably because he's not used to getting fouls called on him. I wasn't home yet to see when he fouled out, but I actually have very little trouble imagining those calls were legit. I said in the Cole Aldrich thread that I think he fouls all the time and gets away with it.

He fouled him. My response to #32 would be why would you even reach / slap down? You're the best pure shot blocker in the nation. Do your thing & quit grabbing / reaching.

3 fouls in like 5 minutes.

:thumb: The last 2 years I've been saying he'd be a below average shot blocker if they called the fouls they should on him.

Its amazing what effect a player's reputation can have on officials. Cousins gets T'd up because officials THINK he's going to do something. Jarvis doesn't get fouls because officials THINK he's just a great shot blocker.

In the ESPN recap, there's a quote from Jarvis saying his 4th foul was "suspect." HA! That was one of the most obvious of the 5.

I didn't get to see this game but have heard plenty about it!! In honor of my BGP UK friends............

Mississippi State fans.....You are REDNECKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The fifth foul was maybe, but not the 4th.

I thought the 5th foul was the worst, he came in late and just pulled and yanked one of UK's players arm and then started whining.

Of all the poor calls in the game, I did not really think much of any that Vernardo received.

He was very deserving. I'm not sure what he was thinking on some of those. Just dumb fouls.
