Have read that a few things that were thrown never quite reached the floor...one cup of soda was short of the floor and hit a cheerleader right on the head and she had to go get towels to get cleaned up.

One surprising thing was that no PA announcement was made regarding throwing things until the last few seconds.

I said at halftime in the game thread that Vernardo was getting away with murder. He slapped Cousins across the forearm on Cousin's dunk and there was no call. In the second half they called the fouls. Period.

 

No question that UK got a good whistle in the overtime period but that the breaks. MSU had a 7 point lead and should have sealed the deal. They can only blame themselves.
