Raiders 20 Bengals 17

Featured Replies

Ive read that the Bengals served one up, poor playcalling, and several other excuses. This is all stuff that all you guys were laughing at us STeelers fans last week for saying now you saying the same things. Karma baby you got to love it....Lucky for the Bengals the Steelers and Ravens got it handed to them today also. Is the AFC North full of average teams?

How is it karma? Steelers lost too today. :D

Offensive Line stunk, play calling stunk, Morgan Trent got exposed in the last 3 min of the game, Jeremy Johnson should never touch the ball again and Shayne Graham is overrated fo sho.

With that said, thankfully all other division teams lost and this may be good for the Bengals. Let them think about how embarrassing this is on their flight back and maybe they will re-load and blow out the next couple opponents.

This team doesn't score a lot of points. They thought Oakland couldn't score enough to beat them and they were wrong. Marvin Lewis and company aren't that good. It showed today. I don't trust him or Graham in close games. It's a shame b/c they have talent.

If you would read my post I mentioned that the Steelers got it handed to them today. A Bengal fan started the Final Score thread on the Steelers game and all the Bengal fans were going in and having their fun, and trashtalking as the Bengals were still in the first half.....maybe the Bengal fans should wait a couple of hours next time. That is Karma. The Bengals are decent at this point just like a lot of teams nothing more nothing less. And you guys are so predictable Im going to go ahead and say it. The Steelers are beat up mentally and physically and have some major things to fix and oh yeah they lost twice to the Bengals. But in Bungle fashion you cant handle prosperity.

It makes you wonder how much stock to put into that 5-0 record the Bengals have, doesn't it? I mean Cincinnati loses to Oakland, Pittsburgh loses to Kansas City, and Cleveland loses to Detroit. (Okay, so one of those really doesn't surprise me!) Baltimore had a chance (actually several) to knock of Indianapolis today as well, and couldn't take advantage.

Let's hope it's just one of those weird weeks in the NFL. :idunno:

The AFC north has dominated the NFC north though.

Terrible loss. Looked like Cincy would take care of business after they took the lead 14-0 but they let an inferior opponent hang in there and look what happened. Some are stating this loss isn't big but Cincy had a chance to put a strangle hold on the rest of their division and laid an egg. Bruce has two big wins over Cincy, his last victory didn't help the Bengals in '06.

Very true but they didn't have a 5-0 record in the North either. But I'm sick of Bob's play calling. You would think with the talent the Bengals have they could get new OC. When your up 14-0 you go for the throat not let the team back in the game. This game proves that Bob needs to go but Marvin will keep him like usual.

The Bengals made all kinds of good chances in the off season. There was only one other change that they should have made in the off season, and that was the offensive coordinator. His play calling is very predictable, and never really seems to confuse opponents at all. We have talent though, that seems to overcome it and still make some plays. However they could be so much better with someone else calling the plays. I think Bob is the second longest run as offensive coordinator in the NFL right now. Teams know exactly what we are going to do usually. I think it would also help out Palmer, to have a new offense in place. The sad thing is the Brat is not going anywhere unless he leaves on his own for another job. So we are going to have to keep winning in spite of him.

Does anyone else think this could've been the best loss for this team all year?

It was the Cleveland game all over again but this time Oakland decided to actually win it.

First incidence this season of the Bengals truly being the Bengals.

The Larry Johnson era is 0-1:D

No way this game is on his shoulders, but I thought the same thing.

I went to church, never checked the score until this morning. Unbelievable.
