Raiders 20 Bengals 17

I'm just upset like everyone else about this loss but the Bengals always have had bad loss when their having a winning year. I know the 88 Bengals who was 34 seconds away from it because of Joe Montana had a very bad loss to KC that year. They were 1-10 I think. My dad told me that the 81 Bengals had bad one bad loss as well. The 2005 team didn't have a bad loss but the Bengals always play down to the bad teams.

The point about home field advantage really doesn't matter lately. The Pats in 2004 is the last AFC team to have home field advantage to win the Super Bowl. The Steelers were a 6 seed. The Colts were a 2 seed. The Giants even though they are an NFC team was a 6 seed. The Steelers last year was a 2 seed as well. Just because the Bengals might not get the 2 seed doesn't mean they can't win the AFC and go to the Super Bowl.

You guys are not wanting to surrender the #2 seed. The Patroits will not lose games to weaker teams. Have you watched them in the past? It just won't happen. If the Bengals can't beat the Raiders on the west coast I do not have very much confidence in beating a much better Charger team on the Coast. After yesterday. how much confidence do we have for the rest of the year? I was riding high on the Bengals and having a very fun football season, but that game yesterday really put a hurtin on my season. :irked:

While I agree it will be hard to beat SD in SD you do know the Pats lost to the Jets and Broncos right? Not exactly world beaters.
