November 23, 200916 yr The Bengals played not to lose today, instead of playing to win. They quit trying to throw the ball and simply tried to run the clock out. Pathetic, a really bad loss with a chance to get a 3 game lead. Just when you think things are getting better...
November 23, 200916 yr So many missed chances today. There is no reason why they should have lost. On that last drive alone Trent and Joseph should have had interceptions. Trent should have been able to find the ball to pick it. Then Joseph had it right in his hands but dropped it. Our corners have had a hard time catching the ball the last two weeks. Just a horrible lost. I said after Chris Henry got hurt that I was worried about the offense. Well since he gotten hurt, our offense has not been good at all and really bad in the red zone when it comes to touchdowns.
November 23, 200916 yr To many turnovers is totally on the players. Make the plays and don't drop the ball. Miss another FG Graham. They deserved to get beat. If they played a good team this week they would have gotten drilled, just like against Houston. Suck it up and get ready for the Browns. If they can beat them it should help with tie breakers. The Bengals already have all the tie breakers won in the division.
November 23, 200916 yr We could have passed on them anytime we wanted. We proved that early. I told my buddy that if we did not put this game away early, it would be a struggle. The Jereri Johnson carry in FG territory and the call or decision to throw the ball down the sidelines to Leonard on third down were horrible. Those calls are high school calls not NFL calls. Also, Geathers sould have scored on the fumble recovery except we could not knock down the only Raider back there. This gamme is worse than the Broncos game.:irked::irked::irked::irked::irked::irked::

Pathetic, a really bad loss with a chance to get a 3 game lead. Just when you think things are getting better... I put that squarely on the shoulders of ol' Bob. Your number one power back (Benson) is out...his anticipated backup (Johnson) had only a few days of practice...and he STILL tries to run it between the tackles with Scott and Leonard! Yet, how many times in the first half did Carson complete on 3rd and long? You've got a pro-bowl caliber quaterback...USE HIM!! It's all fine and dandy to say "we going to be committed to the run". But, you've got to know your personnel and situation. Come on Bob!! The offensive line stunk today, but that's still no excuse. Bet we see Cedric back again next week.
November 23, 200916 yr Yeah nobody ever gives the ball to the fullback. I can't believe they called that play. He's had two carries all year, he's out of shape, and frankly, I don't know why Bratkowski would run the play... Doesn't make sense. This ones on both the coaches and the players. Offensive scheme completely changed after only a two touchdown lead somewhere that the Bengals have never won. The passing game was shredding Oakland's secondary, but Brat hit the breaks immediately after the second touchdown... This is becoming a theme, i.e. the Baltimore game. The Bengals are still a very solid team, and they'll be fine. 7-3 is still 7-3, with Cleveland and Detroit approaching...
November 23, 200916 yr All three of our losses to AFC teams!!!!!! They've only played 2 NFC teams....

November 23, 200916 yr Yeah nobody ever gives the ball to the fullback. I can't believe they called that play. There is nothing wrong with giving it to the FB but when Jeremi Johnson is playing fullback there is something with it. Brian Leonard is a much much much better option. The only purprose Johnson serves is to use his weight and hit somebody.
November 23, 200916 yr The Bengals served this one up to the Raiders today. Their offense was stale the entire 2nd half.
November 23, 200916 yr Scott had 21 carries for 119 yards...why not run the ball? 60 of those yards were on one play... The passing game was much more consistant, and IMO was not used entirely to its capability except for the first two drives. The entire gameplan changed after that...
