Michael Corleone
Did all the other Rose Hill kids move, or have they initially been ruled ineligible as well? It is my understanding that the KHSAA is ruling without rhyme nor reason on the Rose Hill kids. One is eligable one is not. Kinda like flipping a coin. Qryche11
This stinks as this kid is a very fine player and I hope they reverse it.
HOOPDR
I feel sorry for Corey but they should of known the rules. Another tragedy of a kid getting bad advice from his AAU coach. Cory should of moved back home or better yet just stayed home instead of chasing that 8th grade middle school state championship that didn't happen and is now costing him a year of high school basketball which is the game he loves. Well said, he would be a definite All Region player in the 10th at PC and complimented Monroe and the rest of them well.
HOOPDR
I think Monroe and the others would have complimented Corey. Anyway I truly hope this all works out for Corey and he gets to reach his dream of playing D1 college basketball.:thumb: I agree he would have been all region and 1,500 point scorer for Pendleton. The grass is not always greener on the other side of the fence.
ally's mom
I am from the 15th Region and had a chance to work with him at UK during Calipari's camp, this guy is a class act. I wish him the very best, Corey keep your head up from your opposing coach in the 15 yr old bracket during camp this summer.

The grass is not always greener on the other side of the fence. Erma Bombeck had a good book called, The grass is always greener over the septic tank. Sometimes that grass is greener because of the crap that is underneath it. That said, I know minimal to nothing on Corey's situation and the above is NO commentary on it. I just always liked the book.

Option V
Hopefully Corey will get a reversal and be eligible to play this season. He is an outstanding young man and fun one to watch even if he is dropping 30 on your team.

I was thinking that he and two other present Ashland players actually did compete in the 8th grade state campionship finals though.
