I'm disappointed, but not upset. Still had a great time. Now I have to ship the first installment of the wager.

I wonder how much it costs to ship a case of Yuengling to NKY a bottle at a time? RTS, the wager was a case of Yuengling, you didn't stipulate how I had to ship it. :D

:jump:

 I'll take it any way you want to ship it!

I told GT tonight, I thought Pike going down made A difference, the better coached team won, and that's what should've happened....but USF was clearly ready for a Pike lead team, a mobile QB messed them up completely.

It was no longer possible to continue with the "let's all meet at the quarterback" game plan.

BJ played like a freshman tonight. He as flashes though, doesn't he? If he continues to improve, look out next year.

You have a very good QB down there IMO. I was never much a fan of Grothe, but this guy can be something special.

Nobody in the country has better backup quarterbacks than Cincinnati. It seems like every year Kelly has a kid get hurt and the replacement always seems to enjoy a seamless entry into the game.

Pierre-Paul is an absolute freak. He's going to make a fortune on Sundays...

Can you give us an injury update when you know something?

I would sit Pike at least 2 games. They should win both no matter what.

Was the injury as bad in the 1st half as it is now, or did running him back out there make it worse?

Thanks again for any info you can provide.

BK may be one of the best coaches in the nation. He never ceases to amaze me. He demands perfection and he dang near gets it, even from himself. I wonder how long he will be at UC.

Alot of people are blaming the QB from USF he's still a great player. Someexperience under his belt and he may be a hiesman hopeful in a year or two. Big win for the Bearcats I wish they would move above Boise State in the rankings. The BCS ranking come out this Sunday. Well see how much BCS love Cincy is getting.

They talk about him shooting up the draft boards. A few places have him as a better prospect than Selvie. He looks like it.

Speaking of draft boards, how does this injury affect Pike? With a broken arm last year, re-aggravated it this year, separated shoulder in High School. This could hurt his draft stock.

Bearcats look solid on the road. They win out and I could see them in the title game. Remember Bama/Gators if they meet one will lose. Horns could lose also. Iowa will lose twice. Boise State, I don't see it for them. Teams need to win big and have no close games. No more nice guys.

How long will QB Pike be out?

I was really hoping Nebraska would land him last year. I knew he was good but didnt quite know he was this good.

The great part for USF, is there is a kid waiting in the wings that could be better. Freshman Ryan Giddens. He got hurt at the Western game, so I think they are going to try and get him a medical redshirt.

USF's going to be OK. Solid core of players and staff. My hope of going 5-2 in conference, is still within reach. We'll see next weekend at Pitt. If the Bulls can go 5-2, and stay close to, or beat, Miami, then they may get a shot at the Gator Bowl this year.

Of course, the best case for me, would be UC dropping 2 and USF winning out. However, Miami has a better shot of VaTech doing that than the Bulls have of the former.

BTW - I hate the white helmets. As soon as I saw those, I looked at Mrs. S and said, "This is not going to turn out well."

Nothing is certain on Pike yet, but the early reports are that he will miss 1-2 weeks...

That was the first thing I noticed when I turned the game on, and I agree.

He's a tough guy. I will guess that his physical stature will be a consideration for NFL teams that are looking at him.
