nees1212 Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 Collaros was the difference maker. If Pike doesn't get hurt, then this could've been a totally different game.
BaseballIsLife Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 Final. Cincinnati's backup QB stepped up BIG time.
John Anthony Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 I thought UC would control the game but not with a back up QB. Doubt USF is ranked again this year. Hopefully Pike is back in 2-4.
RockPride Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 I told GT tonight, I thought Pike going down made A difference, the better coached team won, and that's what should've happened....but USF was clearly ready for a Pike lead team, a mobile QB messed them up completely.

Coaching definitely decided this game IMO. USF could not adjust to a mobile quarterback. UC was able to change their game plan immediately when Pike went down, and they never looked back. Also, USF's quarterback is going to be a good one as he matures. He's a great running threat and has a huge arm. His receivers let him down tonight, but he also made some big mistakes.
hoopboy Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 Good for Cincy, I would love to see them in the BCS game.
stick1 Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 Big win for Cincy. I agree that the mobile QB killed USF. Kelley is one heck of a coach! I thought it was funny when his backup was in with all the pressure and Kelley had to call a timeout. He ripped him a new one to pay attention lol.
gametime Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 Huge, huge win for the Cats. Just got home from work and settling in for the game on DVR...

Brandon Smith gave them fits at Western.

If he continues to improve, look out next year.
swamprat Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 I'm disappointed, but not upset. Still had a great time. Now I have to ship the first installment of the wager. I wonder how much it costs to ship a case of Yuengling to NKY a bottle at a time? RTS, the wager was a case of Yuengling, you didn't stipulate how I had to ship it. :jump:
GatorFan Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 Good for Cincy, I would love to see them in the BCS game. In my opinion that would be a huge stretch.
gametime Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 Pierre-Paul is an absolute freak. He's going to make a fortune on Sundays...
