10th Region Cats Pause Preview

Featured Replies

Its easy to see, GRC and Mason County will be the primary teams fighting it out for the 10th Region Crown next year. Just like it was last year.

Why all the fuss? GRC and Mason County should probably 1 and 1A anyway. And its October! Alot can happen between now and March.

Everyone knows that Preseason Rankings don't matter at all anyways. If that was the case Scott County would have 11 Straight State Titles. Even if GRC is ranked higher in the Preseason than Mason, that really means nothing. Rankings don't matter, the only thing that does is who is holding that trophy in Rupp in March.

Get off of Fraysure for writing his OPINION! I'm sure you would jump at the chance to write the Rankings for the Cats Pause and when you did, people could rip your rankings and tell you how dumb you are too...

There is nothing wrong with criticizing his opinion. I think hes dead wrong and wanted to express my opinion.

Do they have 3rd period open gym at GRC?

No they do not.

Clark Co. might have one of the best teams in the nation this year. They present match up problems at every position, and should roll in the region and bring home the state title.

I will say GRC is a very good team and I like them a lot, but I would take Holmes against them anytime or anywhere.

The only two teams in KY that has any chance of being rated in the nation is Holmes or Scott County.

They very well might. :jump:

Same here.:thumb: When other ranking come out, they are always criticized on here, why should this one be any different?

With all of the egos going on in here between GRC and Mason, it sure would be sweet for some one else to knock both of them off of their high horses come March.:thumb::banana:

You gotta LOVE basketball!! I've read this whole entire post and have come to the conclusion that the only teams worthy in the 10th region are Mason, Clark, Scott ( a little bit) and Brossart (a little bit). The rest of the 10th may want to cut cost and not participate this year! But, it's a long season and their is a reason why they play the games!! Good luck to all the "underdogs"!!

Scott will be very good again this season, I think they will make some noise in this region wouldn't be surprised if they go to Rupp.

Scott doesn't have enough talent to beat GRC or Mason.

Could be an interesting regional if GRC and Mason drew into the same bracket! That would open the door for someone else to slide in for an upset! On any given night anyone can beat anyone.

You're right, I've seen it happen many times before.

Last time in the 10th may have been 2006.

And you're right. Sometimes a knock-down drag-out semi can take a lot out of a team.

Snooze, you have obviously never seen Scott play, all they play is man to man

Depth will be more of an issue this year so I wonder if they might play some zone a little to help accomodate that for their starters...
