Flying under the radar!

Yea I can see that :D, I have total faith in the tribe though, they are definitely a top 10 team though, I wish them the best of luck.

Good post....I don't agree with everything you say, but good post. I see you mention injuries, many from Mason would not acknowledge all the injuries that GRC had last year and was not 100% for the regional finals, 3 players hurt, and 1 out for the season. Believe me that made a huge difference in the outcome.

How can you say that Gilbert will have the advantage and you have not seen Kendred play? Think you will be surprised. But the depth at PG could play a role.

How do you know that Purvis is not as mobile and cannot guard the 3 spot? He may surprise you too. He will surprise alot of people this year.

Rogers had a bad game in the finals, he couldn't see with the mask on...in the 4th he threw it off. He was out of shape , hadn't played in 6 weeks and had 2 surgeries. Cory will hold his own. What bench play does Mason have that could help out? Setty and Zollo, both very good players, this match up will be interesting. Depends on how GRC gets Zollo the ball. I know very little on Black and Manship, so I will just have to wait and see how much they contribute. Daniels gained alot of confidence this summer in AAU, he will contribute alot for GRC this year.

Again expect nothing but a great game when these 2 teams meet this year. Will be interesting to come back and see this thread and see who's predictions are right.

I was wondering if I saw Kindred play or not. Did he play two years ago and what was his number and how big is he? I vaguely remember a small, quick guard but am not sure if this is Kindred or not. The kid i remember was pretty good as I think a sophomore.

Seems to me GRC and MC are very evenly matched and slight edge might go to GRC is Kindred proves to be the promising point guard I think i saw./

Yes he played 2 years ago, his # I do not remember. Chase is around 5'10, or so, and he is good. He knows his role on the team and will play it well. As a Sophomore he was one of the first guards off the bench. As far as us and Mason evenly matched, I will have to disagree. Believe we have more talent. The key for us is to keep everyone healthy.

I think with the economy as bad as it is and the gas prices on the rise again, all schools except Mason and Clark should save there gas money and not play this year. We should just meet at the fieldhouse in March and watch the regional finals.

Well maybe not lets just go ahead and play the season maybe some of us poor untalented schools can have a good time just playing for 3rd.

WOW big news from the Mason County football game Neil Pawsat injured in first quarter and according to the coach he may not return this football season. He said from what he knows he is not very optimistic about the injury. Very big blow for the football but also for basketball as well

Yes it looks bad at this point,But nobodys for sure on anything yet.Injuries are a part of the game,We will be just fine. But for now lets plays some more Football!!

Im not to worried about more football this year or even basketball its obvious he is headed for bigger things as a college QB I just hope this injury doesnt jeopordize his future.

Hope Neal is ok. He had an injury last year too if I remember right. Great kid. Here's to a speedy recovery.

Hate to hear of any player getting hurt. Hope he is OK and can return soon. :thumb:

Any updates on Pawsatt? I heard he tore his MCL. I also seen on another site it said he was out for the basketball season, but with an MCL I can't imagine that being the case. I hope he is back on the court soon!

Somebody is dreaming if they have Campbell and Soctt ranked that high. They might be 2-3 in the District up there in Northern Ky.

Other than GRC and Mason County who is better than Scott and Campbell County?

37th District is toughest district in the 10th. You could make an argument most years that 3rd place team in that district who doesn't get to go to regional is in the top 5-6 teams of the 10th.
