Yes he did. I can't recall the name right off my head but Team Ice? Not sure exactly.

How did he do in AAU this summer...a kids stock can rise in the summer by playing AAU. Is this the Ice team that Purvis of GRC played with last year?

I wasn't either...expected it.

I have heard from a couple people that Mason Co. is toning down their schedule this year. I heard they aren't playing LexCath, Scott Co, and Bryan Station this year who they have been playing for a while. Is this because of an expected drop off with the players they lost last year?

Downing was a good D player but with the guys they have coming back they will be okay. They got Manship who moved in and Barner moved out. Hamm was a solid D player and hit some shots and was a spark off the bench but Mason Co has other guys off last years team to fill these holes. :thumb:

Don't believe Mason has anyone that can handle Purvis. What a difference he will make to the team this year along with Kindred.

I remember him....thanks glad to put a face with the name. Nice player, but I wouldn't have ranked him over Zollo.

Mason Co plays Holmes...this year I do believe...so how is that toning down?

And why wouldnt you put him over Zollo?

And believe me Mason has a few players that can "handle" Purvis.

What about Vogel from Silver Grove

Doubt it. GRC has too many weapons. If they had Purvis last year it wouldn't of even been close.

So you are telling me that Treg Setty or Neal Pawsat cannot guard him? Tyler Black or Logan Manship cannot guard him? And please tell me how it wouldnt have been close last year. Please explain. To me Im not sure who they would have put on the court and this year will be an even harder task for GRCs coaching staff. Yes they have alot of talent but all of their players are bigs. They do not have anybody on the team that will be able to bring the ball up against Mason and their bigs are not good enough on the ball defenders to guard Setty or Pawsat so how are they going to match up? Can the GRC faithful plese explain?

Kellen was arguably the best PG last year in NKY, and that was his sophomore year. He has plenty of time ahead of him to make a name for himself. I think the #3 ranking in the 10th region is showing that people around the state are taking notice of him. Now whether or not he is better than Zollo is a very good question but its hard to compare players that play two entirely different positions and say who is better! I expect Kellen to have a big year.

Come on he was a nice player for a sophmore but, better than Boone County's Gabbard?, Riley from Holmes??, The little guy from Holy Cross was pretty tough also... The Highlands guards wore him out in head-to-head play. Maybe in the 10th region BUT not all of Northern KY IMO

I haven't seen it yet so I was wondering because I have heard about all the teams Mason Co. isn't going to play anymore. I don't know why they would quit playing those teams other than to tone it down (which may not be the answer).
