Do they have 3rd period open gym at GRC?

Just curious, where have you seen Purvis play lately?:confused:

This may be true if what you are saying is accurate.

Justis is an very good defender and also very heady.

I saw him play a few games his freshman season.

No I know who Purvis is and the fact remains that none of Clarks bigs will be able to handle Setty and Pawsat on the perimeter. If coach O'Hearn wants to win he'll just let Setty and Pawsat take the ball to the wholearound Clarks bigs. Clarks bigs are not as fast as Masons bigs that is all im saying. I have seen Purvis play many times and no he can not guard Setty nor Pawsat off the dribble.:ylsuper:

Purvis plays a wing? :confused: Are we talking about the same Pervis? He may be on the wing but if he is Mason will have a field day on the other end of the court because that will mean Pervis will be on Setty and Setty will just take him out on the floor. :thumb:

These matchups arent exactly correct. J Lang will guard Stenzil and Gilbert will guard Kendred. Pawsat will more than handle Pervis in the post. I also cannot wait till the season. :thumb:

I think you may have misunderstood me on this. I am not comparing Pawsat and Pervis as players I am simply asking you how they will guard Masons bigs off the dribble, and shooting the three does not make him as versatile as Setty or Pawsat. None of Clarks bigs can handle the ball quite like Masons bigs that is all im saying.:thumb:

So you are telling me that Treg Setty or Neal Pawsat cannot guard him? Tyler Black or Logan Manship cannot guard him? And please tell me how it wouldnt have been close last year. Please explain. To me Im not sure who they would have put on the court and this year will be an even harder task for GRCs coaching staff. Yes they have alot of talent but all of their players are bigs. They do not have anybody on the team that will be able to bring the ball up against Mason and their bigs are not good enough on the ball defenders to guard Setty or Pawsat so how are they going to match up? Can the GRC faithful plese explain?

And why wouldnt you put him over Zollo?:confused: And believe me Mason has a few players that can "handle" Purvis.

The announcer would have been tolerable if he just would have quit talking between plays. I don't come to a game to listen to the announcer. I come to watch the game and discuss what's going on with my friends as it happens. As I said before, we couldn't talk between ourselves comfortably because the volumn was so high and he never shut up. At points the game was interrupting him! Mason County has a cannon too. It only makes noise when a TD is scored. Almost everybody likes a cannon.

Give me a break. He was going on about people coming back from vacation, wedding anniversaries, etc. He kept trying to be funny without success. And the volumn was so loud I couldn't converse about the game with my friend sitting next to me. I've been going to football games for nearly 50 years. This guy was as bad as any I've heard. BTW - I thought the Campbell County players showed good sportsmanship and were very well coached. Left me wondering how Boone Co. beat them.

I'll go with snooze. The announcer was the worst I"ve ever had to endure.

I know they lost a lot of lineman, who's stepping up?

Any Mason county young players getting big on the line, I know they graduated virtually all the starting line.
