Heisey is hitting .358 with 10 RBI's in 12 games so far in UL.

By the way, you need to get your mind of the Cardinals.

When they do score they can't hold it.

By the way, you need to get your mind of the Cardinals.

Sometimes I hark back to one of those jokes that everyone who follows sports and entertainment knows the answer to. And it's topical today.

Q: What do Michael Jackson and the Cincinnati Reds have in common?

A: They both wear one glove for no apparent reason.

Soon after that the Reds will try to move the big contracts of Arroyo and Harang, to make room for Travis Wood. We'll see a rotation of

Cueto

Volquez

Bailey

Owings

Wood

Terrible game. 5th place. Probably looking at dumping salaries now, rather than adding. Too bad. I kind of thought things would be a little different this season.

They were different. When you're a small market club you can't afford to have the injuries they have had. Hopefully Dusty doesn't run Taveras out there every day the rest of the year. Dickerson needs to start every game to see if he's capable of being an every day CF. Hopefully he doesn't use Cueto, Homer, or Volquez too much either. They could be very good w/ a SS and another outfielder.

I think we see Taveras much like we saw Patterson last year. Thing is with the injuries, they played pretty well throught that time. Everyone's back except Edison is back and they are tanking. The holes remain, LF, CF, and SS. Bruce has not helped much either. EE still is a ? Will he play to what the club think's is his potential. So basically as far as field players go. You have 2 that are top every day players. It will be interesting to see what Jockety does with this group. BTW. I do also like the catchers, so let's include them to make it 3 everyday players. Pretty much the same issue they have had for years. Not enough good players. Is that due to small market, poor management or a combination of the two.

Lets have an overhaul in the coaches. Jacoby, Poole, Spier, and the ring master himself. Dusty.
