Track the Reds (Week 14)

Featured Replies

Reds start the week with a four game series against the Phillies in Philadelphia, and then go to New York for three against the Mets before the All- Star break. It will be Cueto vs. Hamels in the opener.

Hate seeing Hamels in the opener.

Yep, we're exactly what he needs to get on track!:ohbrother:

Can we please move Arroyo to the pen? Please? Or to another city? Please?

Weathers can try to minimalize it all he wants, but the Pujols slam may be a defining moment for the Reds this season..

Why limit it to the opener?

That was a heartbreaker. Especially with how Bailey pitched.

Was it a couple years ago when the Cardinals came back from 9 down to beat the Reds? It was all down hill from there if my memory is correct.

It's been longer than that. Danny Graves was a part of that game, and he's been long gone for a few years now.

As a Reds fan I think we are going against Hamels at the perfect time. He is struggling, Reds need to win 2 of 3 from the Phils and then take the same from the Mets. Mets are hurting right now too. As for the game the other night I put all the blame on Dusty. The Reds have a great bullpen when they start the inning, they struggle when they inherit runners. Give us a quality "fair" manager and the Reds will win the central.

4 against the Phillies

I think LRCW should put a call out to Davey Johnson.

I blame Dusty and Rhodes almost equally. At some point Dusty needs to use Masset in the crucial situations. Rhodes had to get the guy out he faced.

Time flies as the years go by. I hope the Reds respond better after the weekend then they did back then.

Rhodes walks a guy in his first MLB at bat on 4 pitches. Unexcusable !

I like Rhodes but that shouldn't happen from a veteran like him.
