I agree, you can not blame the officials in this one. The only call I will disagee with is the Technical foul on Arnold, Holmes cut the lead to 6 he was making a play on the ball, they both stumbled out of bounds and feet got tangled. The kid from boone fell, next thing you know a T is called. It was called because of Arnold's rep because there was nothing flagrant about what happened and he wasn't trying to hurt anyone.

Brother we're going to have to completely disagree on the T. There was no stumbling. Arnold got frustrated when McFarland put on the brakes and prevented Arnold from getting to the ball.

A rookie official could have made that call IMO.

Looks like a lot of people just spent some money to reply to the Holmes lost

According to the NKY Post blog Pittman's wrist injury could be pretty serious. Coach Henley was quoted by the reporter as saying that it does'nt look good at this point. Let's wait and see but man what a loss for Holmes if it is serious and takes Pittman out for an extended time. Hope for this kids sake its just a sprain and he'll be 100% by district tourny time.

Has Elliott County v Holmes become the state's most fierce rivalry?

If you watched him closely after it happened and throughout the remainder there can be no surprise if it comes back as more than a sprain. He was in serious pain and essentially didn't use his left arm the rest of the game.

Rivals, EC wouldn't even cross our minds. :D

Anyone have FT stats for each team?

Good win Boone. Let's not get carried away guys, it's just one regular season game.

The impression I got wasn't a sprain either. I admire him wanting to fight through it, but I'm guessing a cast is in his future...

Good one. I think Sat. instead of a JV game before Elliott and Ballard game. Maybe Dale could play Eta Rho one on one instead. Maybe even use some of the smiles they use.:taz:(Dale):ylsuper:(Eta Rho) as uniforms.

Who ref the game, sounds like they did a very good job?

Tim O'Hara is the top ref in NKY. He was the ref that called the T .

Congrats to Boone County! Huge win!
