GT, good call on Gabbard being player of the game. I couldn't agree more.

No attacks on the kid from me. McFarland boxed him from the ball and he put two in his back and shoved. That's a T. No other way to see it...

From where I was sitting it was not. If it was throw him out - period!

That's why I get paid...

Good seeing you and nobiz tonight. Always fun...

Everybody on here has hyped their team to the upmost. That's why we are on here. :ohbrother:

Did you notice that most of the people who have replied to this thread never have anything to say when Holmes wins but they sure jump at the opportunity to bash them when they lose. What does that tell you?? Do a poll of Ky. fans on Duke basketball and see what you get. Most people hate teams like Duke because of what? They win!

It wasn't done with intent to hurt him, just an act of frustration. It deserved a T and a T only. Great call by the crew...

I will be the first to say, I did not think they could get beat in the ninth region. I have been proven wrong. I am a Bulldog fan. :idunno:

Do you want to elaborate on adding me to this post?

A few thoughts.

Gabbard got our player of the game. Excellent floor game on offense and really frustrated Riley on the other end. He stepped up big time, and while McFarland will get the ink, I think Gabbard impacted the game at least an equal amount.

Rico has to fill the Arez Henderson role in a lot more ways that natural ability. His team desperately needed him to lead tonight and he didn't step up. And yes you can lead in many more ways than points. Pull them together when play stops, step up when someone gets injured and so on. Talent isn't his issue. Intangibles are.

If I was Wright State or someone similar to that level of D1, I'd be taking a hard look at McFarland. He's a basketball player to the core. It was nice to see him have a game like this on a big stage. I'm interested to see if it spring boards him in the post season.

Excellent game plan and execution from Boone. If by "stall ball" you guys mean they completely controlled the game and more so the 2nd half, I agree...

Hasn't McFarland already signed at Georgetown College?

That's why I get paid...

Good call. I think I might be spread a little too thin sometimes...

Yes, or so I have read in a couple of places.

Good win Boone County. You just never know until the horn sounds.
