I don't listen to alot of rap but I like both Pac and B.I.G..

I'm not a huge 2Pac fan but some of his stuff is very good. I prefer Biggie, "Hypnotize" being my favorite.

Tupac...though I'm not as familiar with Biggie's non-mainstream stuff, so it's hard for me to make a fair assessment.

 

Though, I gotta say, the rappers of today (besides Eminem), don't even compare the rappers I grew up with. If rapping is about telling a story, there's none of that getting done these days.

 

There are still good ones out there now you just gotta look. Allhiphop.com is a good site for non-mainstream rap.

No way! Ironic that his real childhood and the one he rapped about in the song were different, but then again isn't that most of rap?

 

I would say Biggie. I was just a small kid when they both got big, but having a sister 10 years older definitely helped out. Songs like Notorious Thugz, 10 Crack Commandments, and Warning will definitely be some of my favorites.

 

I still think Hypnotized is one of the greatest videos of all times, that and Mo Money Mo Problems. Speed boats, shiny suits, etc.
