Notorious B.I.G. or Tupac Shakur?

With the Biggie movie coming out, we had this discussion tonight. And because of the way they both died, they will forever be linked.

 

For a very long time I leaned towards Tupac, but in the last 5 years or so, I have converted and now I pick the Notorious B.I.G.

Tupac. I mean I'm not a big fan of either, but I like Tupac's song Change.

Easily 2Pac. Biggie is one of my all time favorite but I don't think anyone ranks ahead of 2Pac for me.

I did an entire 5 page paper last year on why East Coast Rap is of higher and better Quality than West Coast Rap. Mainly focusing on Tupac, Dr. Dre, and Snoop Dogg versus the BETTER Jay-Z, Biggie, and Nas. With the add ins of NWA, Mobb Deep, etc. . . .

 

I voted for Biggie and I really think his rhymes and flow are better and more complex than Tupac's. Not that I dont like Tupac, just that I enjoy listening to BIG more.
