Any list that has Eazy E in it as a top rapper is automatically disqualified from discussing rap with PP92.

I can't take you serious if you say he is one of the top 100 rappers ever.

He was garbage and he didn't write his own rhymes. You can't not write your own rhymes and be a top 100 rapper of all time.

Yes, I am a rap/hip hop snob. I will not accept any conversation about Eazy E being a nice rapper. He made some memorable music that I still enjoy to this day but he's garbage. A fake. A phony. He isn't nor ever was real.

Did not know this and it breaks my heart. I never really liked how things went down with him and Jerry Heller basically screwing everybody else in NWA over. I didn't like him because of those types of shady moves, but I always liked his raps. Didn't know he had people write for him.

Another big rapper who uses ghost writers is Dr. Dre. I love Dre, he has two of the baddest albums of all time. If he ever gets Detox out he will probably have three of the baddest albums of all time. Just sucks to know that somebody has to write his raps for him, at least he can make a beat.

Somebody else I can't believe I left off my list is 50. Say what you want, I know "candy shop" and other lame songs like that look bad on him, but 50's for real. His mixtapes are some of the best, he basically invented the mixtape. Every album he's done has been good and he has his own style and flow. To me 50 is possibly the best rapper to come out post 2000. Plus the dudes took nine shots, if anybodys keeping it real its 50. He's got the scars to prove it, not like all these fake g's we see now. Definitely went from nothing to something, now he's big timing it. He's really an entrepreneur.

Juicy is still the best track of all time............

I hate you......

Yes. Ice Cube wrote his rhymes and after Ice Cube left the group then Ren took over Eazy's writing responsibility. After the group split up all together I think Bone took over his writing responsibilities. If you ever have the time and resources listen to all of Eazy's work from beginning to end and you'll see the change and decline in his lyrical content. It's fairly noticeable.

I hate you......

My fave Tupac song:

Love the Roger Trautman sound

I don't think he is a great rapper but I am a big 50 fan. I think he is a good rapper and enjoy his work. He is definitely one of the best to come out in the 2000's. I think Em is the best to come out in the 2000's.

I'm not sure exactly why but I'm a big fan of The Game. I think he just has an old school sound to his voice and a lot of his raps. I hate most of the new rap.

Yeah, I like him also. I like him better than 50 to be honest.

My favorite rappers, in no particular order.

Redman

Keith Murray

Jay-Z

Ghostface Killah

Method Man

Raekwon the Chef

Eminem(pre 8 Mile)

I've saw a couple people mention groups. This thread isn't complete without The Roots, A Tribe Called Quest, Outkast, and even though their output is limited, Blackstar.

Outkast is the best group in hip hop history. That much isn't debatable...

I put The Roots right there with them. Which isn't taking anything away from either one. Both amazing groups.
