December 23, 200817 yr I was introduced to the site by a Mason County football player who was dating mcdaughter (happy 21st birthday, Nick!) at the time; most of my early posts were related to Royals football and basketball. I was then and continue to be impressed with how BGP stacks up against "the competition". I really enjoy meeting other members; always a treat to match usernames with faces.

December 23, 200817 yr I am drawing a complete blank as to what was going on in May 2001 that would have drawn me to the site. Sure am glad it did though.

December 23, 200817 yr I remember finding out about a OJ Mayo, I think he was in the 6th grade..I am with you on Mayo. I remember reading an article about him around this time linked from BGP.

July 6, 200917 yr Always fun bringing the BGP memories thread back. This thread (kudos to GT) was one of my first BGP memories....anyone else remember it? Top 5 Left Handed 2 Guards Under 6' In a 20 Mile Radius Of Your House And boy do I miss Frances....only caught the tail end of his/her illustrious reign, but what a character.
July 7, 200917 yr I remember arguing with a bunch of Elliott County fans on the Boys Basketball board for about 2 solid weeks and the arguments on the pro boards about Kobe/LeBron.
