First Memories:

Being a freshman in High School looking for a website that talked about Kentucky High School sports. I thought Boyle County was the best team in the Kentucky history after beating us twice in the KHSAA State Finals. Then I learned about Trinity, St. X, Highlands, etc... I learned ALOT.

 

Fast forward through my current username:

I don't really remember anything in particular. I think I joined during KHSAA Basketball playoff time.

I came here because I heard about it from a friend who was voyeour. :lol:

 

I loved it because it wasn't as nasty as some other places had become.

 

My first real reason was the football forum but have loved playing a :devil: advocate in P&R or other forums.

 

The biggest recollection I have from the fall of 2001 was that Boyle was not that talented and "now that they are in AAA they will see what real football was like." Well, we all know how that turned out. :thumb:

 

I've loved the give and take and for the most part people don't get too personal. When they do, I tend to leave or really get offended. (I don't think I've had to do that too much. )

 

Really, this is the only message board I belong to and have absolutely enjoyed the comradarie even with those big city L'ville people and Nasty Northerners around Cincy.

I think I got suspended twice in the first week I was on here, but have been (relatively) a good boy ever since, bringing affliction to the comfortable … :fire:

Luckily your first memory doesn't necessarily have to be your best...

For me, being (what seemed at the time) the only Greenup Co. fan on the site was my first memory.

 

Also, having Cville and the other citizens of "Ram nation" adopt me, lol.

 

Finding out that I have a kindred spirit (as far as relationships go) in Rocket.

 

Reading UkPat's exploits abroad during his worldwide tour.

 

Meeting some very nice people on here and being made to feel as if I am part of a family.

My first memories are of posting about Madison Central's basketball team.

I don't even remember my first memories on here,so I just leave it at that.

I remember hiding my identity from the friend of mine that told me about the site. This lasted about a week...until he came up to me and said..."How's it doing, True Blue (and Gold)." I should have picked another name.

My first memory was getting suspended within my first 5 posts :lol:

CheerNBHappy is one of those things you don't understand, you just know. :lol: I'd say that that's the best explanation you'll get.
