This is going to be interesting if everyone stats the facts.

Please list Players, the school they attend, the class, the position and the vitals of each player you feel is a DI prospect:

Tim Patterson from Louisville Central 6'5" 225 4.6-40 MLB lead team in tackles the past two years along side two uk signees (Mister Cobble and Ridge Wilson), he is already listed on rivals 150 in the nation, will be a senior next year.

Please lists other top prospects and their vitals.

I heard there is a lot of DI talent in state these upcoming years:ylsuper::thumb::D

If you're going purely by athletic ability, I'd think Casey Brockman, 6-2, 185 Sr QB, and Tyrell Willis, Jr, 6-3 245 Running back, both from Calloway County. I also think Jamarielle Brown of Lone Oak might be a D1 prospect, (6-1 175) but more likely as a defensive back as opposed to QB.

Add and clarify. Brown is a definite DI recruit but will probably play WR or DB. Brockman is 6-2/185 and is getting looks from lots of IAA and DII teams, only a QB recruit. His academics and on-field smarts also lift his stock. Willis, a junior, is a definite DI prospect who would probably be a DE or LB at the next level but could be a FB/TE too. Definite candidate for a Mr. Football honors in 2009. Grant Williams, a 6-5/250 jr OT for Calloway, is already getting DI looks and is a quality lineman. Calloway Sr WRs Chris Dobbins and George Garner are also both outstanding and will play college ball somewhere. Dobbins a definite WR and Garner could be a DB or WR.

The only stat I'm sure of is that he's 6-3, 245 and is a junior. As far as speed in the 40, and bench press, I'd have to defer to someone a little closer to the program. He has put up some impressive performances this year, though. We all wish him the very best.

Lamar Dawson, LB, 6'2", @220lbs., 40 time-unknown, Sophomore(should be a freshman)-Boyle County

Nivek and I are going to try and promote DI prospects in the state of Kentucky throughout the nation so we need all the specific vitals (Combine listings would be best) we can get on our young men to give them the props they deserve and Bluegrasspreps is the best forum for getting these names and getting them out there because of the knowledge bluegrasspreps members have of the game. It is all about the kids and we are very fortunate to have BGP to use as a networkinging tool to get this done.

You haven't seen Brown play much defense if you think he's a D1 prospect at Db. He will be a WR or return specialist provided he adds a little bulk to his frame. He doesn't tackle well enough or defend well enough to be a Db. He definetly is a good receiver with excellent hands & is a big time playmaker.

What I was thinking, I can see him at Murray or Western as a WR

Give me a couple of weeks and I can probably get that info for you. Coach Hester's son and mine play basketball together, but I won't see coach until football is over with.
