This is what we are looking for Ram...

Now give us some Sophomores and Juniors that are DI prospects.

Logan is the man would love to see him wearing the UK Blue!:thumb:

I would say 5 of the 6 could be..

Josh Conner should be listed. He has been hurt most of his senior year but still has alot of natural talent. Hopefully schools will see his potential and not miss out on a quality athlete and young man.

I think that is where he will go, if they offer. That is his dream from what I hear.

In Lexington there are several:

Lafayette -

Eric Shaw 5' 11" 195lb RB

Burt Mingey 6' 9" 330lb OT

Henry Clay -

Branden Johnson 6'2" 185lb WR/FS

Bryan Station -

Kris Bolton 6'0" 220lb LB

Octavian Crutcher 6'1" 215lb LB

Chaz Mitchell 5'10" 175lb WR/RB

Tevin McCaden 5'10" 185lb RB

You haven't seen Brown play much defense if you think he's a D1 prospect at Db. He will be a WR or return specialist provided he adds a little bulk to his frame. He doesn't tackle well enough or defend well enough to be a Db. He definetly is a good receiver with excellent hands & is a big time playmaker.

I stand corrected. I've seen a couple of games this year, and what I saw, he looked pretty good. I must have missed the whole picture... D1 schools, ignore what I posted earlier...

Conner QB Nick West.

Boone County RB Charles Quainoo.

Simon Kenton RB Miles Simpson.

Highlands DB/WR Austin Collinsworth.

Ryle TE Tate Nichols.

I do not see West as a D1 football player.

But I agree with the rest. Quainoo, Simpson and Collinsworth are no doubts.

I would say 5 of the 6 could be..

Remember we're talking D1 here. Remember all of the D1 hype on the 07 squad? What was the # projected 6 or 7? If I remember correctly 2 went D1 full scholly. Numbers will dictate D1, not how good of a football players the kids are. It's all about passing the eyeball test.

I feel this class has that many D1 players, as you know it's about size and speed.

Uh-huh.

And Conner and Guidugli and anyone else? Heck, basically the entire starting lineup are D1 prospects, huh?

West has the size (6' 3", 200 lbs.), quickness, and cannon arm to go with a good level head and toughness. Is he going to play at Florida or Texas? No. But he's got the potential to play at some lesser D1 schools. And he's certainly got as much D1 potential as some of the names being thrown out here in this thread.

The only "no doubt" is Simpson.
