I don't think parking is that easy. I got there an hour early last week and had to park up by the bank.

I predict a big win by the Fort Mitchell Highlands Bluebirds!

Fort Mitchell is the new Titletown... it's the home of the defending 1A and 5A state champions! Wow!

:thumb::laugh:

Yeah, but Highlands did it with the #'s 3 & 4 running backs and Dixie did all of their scoring against the second and third team defenses. This is a different Highlands team, especially if Conner is getting closer to playing shape. After last week it will be first team all the way from here on out.:ylsuper:

:thumb: absolutely right

Winning!!! it's expected, thus no longer exciting. Wait for the wagon to pull up for playoffs and then go and pretend you have been one of the loyals all season long....

Is that harsh? Not trying to start an argument, but for arguments sake, is there a more legit reason?

I don't think it's harsh at all Skunk. Your just speaking the "truth"!

Last weeks game against Bryan Station may just have increased the gate for remaining games.:thumb:

I hate to be harsh, but I think that's a very weak excuse. The coaches and young men work hard year round to be able to put a winning program together year after year. For fans to quit showing up just because they expect a win is one of the dumbest things I've ever heard when it comes to fan support.

He didn't say it was a strong excuse, just an excuse. I think you'll find agreement among most of the HHS supporters on this site that the attendance is disappointing.

He asked if there was a more legit reason. That sure sounds like he thinks it's a strong excuse.

It is what it is....:D

Ok... I'm a little lost... I thought Beechwood was Ft. Mitchell and Highlands was Ft. Thomas? Are they really the same thing?

Just when I thought I knew it all!

The Ashland paper mistakenly printed that Ashland would travel to Ft. Mitchell to take on Highlands.

It kind of ruins the joke when you have to explain it. :D

It's not winning, it's how they win. HHS fans will travel great distances to see a good HHS football game. They won't go to home games to watch 50 first half points and the JV the entire second half.

It's sad really. I can assure you that this group includes very few, if any BGP posters. They'll tailgate at an academic meet...

I think Highlands wins this one. However the TOs HAVE to be minimalized. Still like to see Head get 5-10 touches.

This attendance issue has been the case for years. This year is especially bad. First round of the playoffs, you could have shown up to the game at any point from kick off through the final cannon and still gotten a very nice seat on the 50. For a town that prides itself so much on the football program, and rightfully so, the fans can definitely be pathetic at times! Get off your duff and support these kids!
