You're preachin' to the choir here. The people on here talking about these issues are not the people that need to hear your message. The posters that I'm reading concerns from are generally the more loyal supporters and those that are most likely to show that support in various ways. No, the people who really need to hear this are those who have become complacent and no longer make an effort to show their support of the hometown treasure that is this team. And I "believe" the town window painting thing was an art department project, or was somehow orchestrated by the school. Hopefully, we will get the opportunity for that to happen this year.

Well said BF. :thumb::thumb:

Now I'm gonna have Elvis in my head all day! :irked:

But the Christmas walk is critical. That's where you get all your best info. ;)

Elvis in a Bird suit!!

I'll work on it.
Ok... I'm a little lost... I thought Beechwood was Ft. Mitchell and Highlands was Ft. Thomas? Are they really the same thing?

Just when I thought I knew it all!

nope, two different cities...

I noticed that too. I think I know why though. A CCH win saves us a 3 1/2 hour drive. :D;)

If they get past Ashland.

Isn't that a yogurt place?:D

That would be TCBY. This is "take care of business".

"One problem is the Sunday before the State game the city has a Christmas walk thru town and a tree lighting. All the stores participate. Stores aren't really all the willing to paint up their windows blue and white when they are expected to showcase their stores for a Christmas event.

Of course, it wouldn't matter to me if I owned a store, I would have a BLUE Christmas theme."

I understand the whole Christmas walk with the stores but Christmas comes every year and while the older folk in town may think the football team wins every year...it is a once in a lifetime for the young ones. I know that like BF said I am preaching to the choir here but some of my best memories of my teen years include painting the windows uptown, meeting with the friends to paint fingernails one blue one white, one blue one white sock and so on. My house was very busy on Friday's after school till the walk to the field.

Just to clarify, if both Highlands and Johnson Central win this week, Highlands will travel to Johnson next week? If this is true, how is it determined, by some rotation?

If like seeded teams meet in an even year, the even numbered district hosts. If like seeded teams meet in an odd year, the odd numbered district hosts.

I believe it's higher seed...and if tied, then it's odd v. even year travels.

That would be TCBY. This is "take care of business".

Thanks for the clarification:lol:

That's the way I thought I interpreted it. Thanks

If they get past Ashland.

I thought you'd appreciate it.;)

I'll work on it.
