But the teams got all that national tv exposure that is so important.:D

After sitting in that heat I'm even more upset with UK for not having played on Monday night.

This schedule, albeit unintentionally, is set up very nicely for Hartline. He managed this game, didn't make any big mistakes and got the W. The next 3 weeks, if I'm Joker, I let him air it out a bit and get comfortable throwing some downfield passes. The young WRs are good. I believe Roark, McCaskill, Cobb (stud), and Lanxter all had catches today. The next 3 games give them some great chances to get very comfortable with the offense before rolling into the vicious SEC.

The O-Line must improve so the Cats can utilize the plethora of RBs.

What a meterioc fall for ULs program. UK fans really shouldn't get too excited about this win. Yes it's the in state rival and thats great. I really like UKs D but was very unimpressed with the O. I thought Locke would become more of an impact player than what he showed yesterday.

Someone explain the sideline infraction call on UK. I was about 3/4's asleep and I really missed it. Are there no more warnings? And, if not, what designates the infraction? Sounds like the "GitBack" Coach is an important position now!!

That makes it even sweeter then. :D:D

I'm sorry, but I couldn't disagree with you more here. Troublemakers disrupt team chemistry and overall morale and evenutally recruiting. Coach K needs to stick with his agenda. In the longrun, the Louisville program will be better for it.

Chemistry is overrated, IMO.

There was no complaints of chemistry when UL was going to the Liberty and Orange Bowls.

I thought everyone would enjoy this picture.

I agree with you. When U of L was claiming to be one of college footballs elite (), we didn't read about all of the excuses that now are in practically every post. I for one, thank Bobby Petrino for what he did for the program. Now all of the back sliders are throwing him under the bus.

You think kids who are buying into a system, working together for a common goal and putting aside the "me first" attitude is overrated? You don't think any of that figures into a great foundation for a team? You don't think character counts?

From fans who only want to see wins, no matter what that means in terms of character or ethics, you won't get any arguments if your school only recruits thugs, and miscreants. I don't want to see Louisville wind up with a reputation like some schools I could mention (and I'm not talking about UK).

Bottom line football is about Jim's and Joe's and UL doesn't have any. The overall talent of this team is bad. Recruiting needs to get stepped up and get back down to Fla.

Attention Coach K: Nice kids are good for you program, they help your overall GPA. But they also get you fired. Go get you some liquor drinkers. They make plays.

That's one of the worst things I've ever read on here.

I've said it before, I'd rather Louisville not win a single game with guys that follow the rules and actually care about themselves and the game than talented idiots willing to throw everything away because they want to look cool or feel good for a little while.

I have my pride as a UofL fan, but winning isn't everything. Some people need to keep in mind that this is just a freaking game.

Call me a back slider, a back stabber, whatever you want. I didn't know then what I know now. And I wish I had.

He was moving AWAY from Lyons. If you can watch that play and say otherwise, you are lying to yourself.

The ball almost hit the UL player in the foot.

:thumb::thumb: Very well said. Too many people have the let's win, no matter the cost attitude.

I haven't read all 5 pages, but that interference call was correct. The UK player had alligator arms because the UL player was so close.

Either way, as someone said above, it is downright frightening how quickly things have gone downhill for the Cardinals. Yes, every program is going to have ebbs and flows, but my goodness the Cardinals don't look capable of winning the Patriot League, let alone the Big East.
