Cobb @ QB. They have to try.

I'm sure he'll see some snaps in the coming weeks with the schedule UK has, but Hartline has the job until he does something to lose it.

Duece I think once you see the call on TV (ESPN,WAVE3) you will see the Card player was closer than it may have appeared at the game. I think the only reason it was called is because of the cushion rule. Maybe a good rule or maybe not but that is the true reason. It was called because it was clearly impeding his clear shot at catching the punt .

As far as Cantwell's delivery goes, my son made the comment he looks like he's throwing a baseball. He said "he looks like he's trying to throw a curve." I thought that was a pretty accurate description from an 11 year old.

Oh and, GO CATS!!!:dancingpa:dancingpa:dancingpa

As someone who has never seen Cobb play at QB before, I don't see what UK gains by moving him... It just takes away a consistent receiving threat, which I think would make the passing attack even worse.

I'll also say this for the QB's:

1. Cantwell had nobody to throw the ball too and not much of a run game to keep UK honest.

2. Hartline was definatly not flashy BUT he made some good decisions throwing the ball away etc and letting UK's defense win the game instead of forcing it while risking the game. UK played the type of game they needed to play to win IMO. I think they are going to have to take some shots down the field just to keep people honest.

3. I think you have to give Cobb a look some just to see what he has. I was impressed with him at WR.

T. Lindley (sp) is a flat out stud too!

The defense can carry this team until the "O" catches up. Their front 4 are as big and athletic as I've seen at UK in years. Great game guys! GO BIG BLUE!

We will/should be 4-0 heading to Bama so I guess we will/should be in the national title hunt for a few more weeks.

Too bad we will/should be 4-0 with wins over 4 bad teams.

4-0 over bad teams is the same as 4-0 over good teams :thumb:

Good point.

Good point.

And 4-0 at UK is like North Korea becoming a democracy :thumb:

UK did go 5-0 to start last season, I can only imagine your analogy for that.

Saw replay, bad call on Lyons fumble. The Player stopped and there was room for Lyons to catch the ball. There is no Halo rule. I drink Ice tea/Milk.

If you think it was a good call you are entitled just as I am. Y'all keep watching and you will see punt returners calling for fair catches.

As long as we are 4-0 I'm happy...:thumb:

I called that a once in a lifetime event, and for me to this point - I think it literally was.

Good call, bad call, all a bunch of excuses.

:sssh:

Bunch of excuses? I only brought up the bad call. I heard Tom Leach/Paul Rogers as I listen to the radio and they agreed. I didn't hear the TV guys.

Game over, whats done is done. I'll move on, we have Tulane and Western Ky. in my future.
