Yes, I admit it. I'm ashamed I was so easily duped.

Should be interesting to see what Petrino does at Arkansas. If I lived in Little Rock I would equip my car with Lowjack.

I hope UL continued their tradition of inviting their top recruits to the game... No telling how many will now show interest in UK...

10-2 with 8 minutes to go and a bad call again on the fair catch drop by Lyons, Cards/Cats "D" both looked very good. Back to the bad call...Cards get the ball on the Cats 20 and who knows.

Momma not happy.

Bad call? Someone drink a little too much during the game?

I think Hartline has a year to prove he's the man. If not, the calvary is coming next year with a 4 star & 5 star recruit coming in.

Cobb will take some snaps cause its a good idea to get the ball in his hands. IMO he's more dangerous with someone getting the ball to him.

I agree next year the calvery is coming and Cobb is most dangerous with someone getting him the ball. But I want to win this year. If it takes moving Cobb to QB for a year then...

The ball almost hit UL's guy in the head. Lyons didn't even have room to extend his arms. He should have just ran into him and made it no doubt though to make sure the call was made.

That was what I thought I saw. Definietly a good call. Close call, but good call.

UK wins two straight against UL for the first time in the series since 97-98 and the infamous Mumme years. Series is 4-3 UL in the last seven years (7-3 UL in the last decade though).

I think the reality is that both teams are going to struggle. This game was unique in that each team had a glaring weakness matched against the other's glaring weakness, and the same was true of their strengths. That is not going to be the case often, or ever again this season for the two teams. UK's rushing O looked terrible most of the day, and Hartline was pretty ineffective, although he didn't lose them the game. The defense carried the day for the Cats.

I can only think of one word to describe this game......BEAUTIFUL!!!!!

I didn't think either offense had a lot to brag about, one of the ugliest games I have watched in a while.

IMO- Cantwell has a very low release point in his throw, which makes it easy to tip the ball. He also has to long of a wind up IMO, it takes him forever to get the ball from front shoulder to throwing motion.... Just what I seee.

The UL defense def brought more then most people thought, but the offense was horrible. Cantwell didnt get any help from his WR

IMO- Louisville is in real trouble.

Cats Def is for real but to be fair they didn't get alot of plays from UL so....? Nice win for UK anyway.

The correct call was made.

:dancingpa:dancingpa U.K."s defense and special teams won this game, felt so sorry for lil' broter that we scored for them .

U.K.'s offense will have tough time this season but imo will get better as time goes on Hartline looked pretty decent, especially for a sophomore starting his first game, he made some good decisions as not throwing into a crowd, etc... I was suprised that U.K. didn't run the ball more though. Our defense was the key today and imo will have to carry this team, especially early. I think that 6 wins for U.K would be a very good season this year, especially in the SEC. I am still picking 5 and hoping for 6.

As for U.L., that is just a bad fotball team, Cantwell is imo terrible, I cannot understand where anyone was saying that he was good. Cantwell is a Senior that plays like a freshman but he hasn't gotten in a lot in the past, imo he maybe should have gotten in more games for experience in the last couple of years. The U.L backs do not run hard at all, the recievers couldn't catch a cold in Dr.'s office waiting room during a cold and flu outbreak. All wasn't them though, half the time Cantwell couldn't get the ball to them . Also, for a rival game I thought that the U.L. players flat out quit, they played with no emotion at all and it especially showed when big ol' 98 rumbled for a U.K t.d.. I can tell you that it wasn't bc of his blazing speed , the U.L. players just imo made no real effort and quit chasing him

.There will probably be a lot of people after Kragthorpe and athough I do think that he is a bad coach I have to say that I don't think all can be blamed on him. Besides coaching he has had to work on cleaning up the mess that Petrino left..(bad attitudes, dicipline problems, etc..). I do hope that U.L. keeps him though :D.

The sweetest sound ever was the silence at Papa Johns today, if you listen real closely you can hear the sound of the Pizza Box closing..:sssh:

But UK is leading 12-9 Overall.

UofL's has tough times with the SEC, again.

I think Ky can get 6 wins this year but 7 may be a tough task in the SEC

Hartline played pretty well IMHO. He did not make but 1 mistake, no turnovers, completed more than 50% of his passes, etc. He was not asked to win this game, just manage it. If anyone expected the offensive output UK had with Woodson, Little, Burton, Tamme and Johnson, they were fooling themselves. He actually looked much more composed than Andre was as a sophomore. Plus, some of receivers dropped some key catches.

I really like Cobb and hope to see him getting more balls thrown his way. What a tremendous athlete this kid is. Very impressed.

UK's defense was spectacular today. Their frontline is solid and Micah Johnson is really maturing as a player. Great win for the CATS!!!
