His throwing motion was very weird...
Kind of like a pitcher. I bet he played baseball.
His mechanics aren't good. He needs a higher firing point.

He needs some game expereince too...He could still have a future in the league I guess but I was expecting a lot more from Cantwell.

I am fine with Hartline at QB... Cobb needs to stay at WR, since he seems to be the best they have (aside from Tricky Dicky, of course).

Hartline was 16-31 for 147 yards. He didn't throw any TD's, but most importantly, he didn't make any major mistakes (aside from the intentional grounding). I am fine with him at QB.

In regards to Cantwell:

He has played well in previous years when he got in, which is why he was hyped so much for this season. If anybody doesn't understand WHY UofL fans were big on him, then I want them to tell me tomorrow's lottery numbers.

He was flat out bad today. I know he would've looked better with some more experienced and talented recievers out there, but he wasn't the leader he should've been.

I'm going to give him two more games before I write him off... maybe three, because I've seen him play well before and I know he's capable of it.

Today he proved us wrong. Because I like the guy, I'll give him a chance to redeem himself before I join the mob that is undoubtedly forming around town calling for his head.

In regards to all the Louisville hometown players for both UofL AND UK... GREAT JOB! You make the city and state proud!

These 2 teams together will not win 10 games... this was a lessor of two evils game. The X vs. T game will be better.

UK will win 7-8, IMO.

While I am very disappointed in Cantwell today, this game was by far his worst performance, IMO.

This is what I expected but I thought it would be a little closer. UofL is flat out bad and if KY can't throw the ball a little then the SEC will be more than tough for them. I thought UK's defense would dominate the game and they did. I thought KY would be better up front and running the ball. I figured they might be down at WR and QB. They are. Thing is UofL was worse. I gave Cantwell more credit than he deserved and UofL's WR's are really bad. I don't see Krag lasting long at UofL.

Hats off to Coach Brooks, staff and the kids they dominated the game today. UK's defense is really good and I thought the offense was smart not forcing things. They will have to make plays down the road but UK's defense was 2TD's better than UofL all around today. The tide has turned between these two programs IMO. I said a few years back that UofL was getting better and UK worse. I now feel the exact opposite. This was a big win for the Cats bowl wise just as the Ark + South Car games are IMO.

Great job CATS!!!!!!! Way to go into Louisville and dominate today!!

:thumb: Another good post stick, I agree with all that you said. I do think that U.K. may be on the outside looking in when it comes bowl time though. I hope that I am wronbg and they can get enough wins.

It appears that UK finally has a legitimate "SEC" defense. Unfortunately, it developed a year late :thumb:

I don't think so an hope that I am wrong. Should U.K. win 7 to 8 games then a poster above may be right, these two teams may have 10 wins combined.:D

Yeah really...It would have been nice to have last years offense and this years defense together for one season.

What we need d to play U.L. 3 or 4 more times...:D.

They will (or at least SHOULD) be 4-0 heading into SEC play. They surely can win 2 of the last 8 on defense alone. They will have great opportunities to win against USC, Arkansas, Miss. St., and Vandy. And should be competitive with Alabama and Tennessee.

His throwing motion was very weird...

People said the same thing about Andre Woodson last year.

While I am very disappointed in Cantwell today, this game was by far his worst performance, IMO.

He was pretty pitiful. He's got a lot of potential though I think.

:thumb: Another thing is that he (Hartline) threw a few of those incompletions away when nothing was there rather trying to throw it in a crowd. I am also fine with him at QB.

Besides, the best thing about him is that he has a brother that plays for the Buckeyes;), very smart family...one with Ohio State and one with U.K. :D
