What happened to Cantwell? All I was hearing from (some) UL fans was he was ready for this, his turn to shine, he's got experience...

Cantwell imo is just a bad qb.

The place was almost empty at the end of the third quarter, except for the BLUE shirts. The best team won. End of story.

Anyone who thinks Hartline should be benched must have been watching a different game. No turnovers and great decisions. I realize he had the safety but his O-line completely hung him out to dry. He had nice touch on the ball and except for a long ball here and there he looked very level headed and did what he was suppossed to do, not lose the game. I doubt almost 100% that Joker told him to go out there and win the game, more like go out there and don't make plays that can make us lose. For a soph, I was extremely pleased and he outplayed a 5 year senior.
Wel said :thumb:

:thumb: Pryor sure has some wheels:lol:

The part that Louisville coaches (and fans) should be upset with on the return was that no one (except a lineman) made an honest effort to run Pryor down.

U.L. flat out quit.

How the worm has turned. Are UL fans ready to admit that Petrino was a total thug? He left Louisville in complete shambles.

:thumb: He did the same thing with Atlanta when he couldn't handle it and he will do the same thing at Arkansas with those were stupid enough to hire him, anyone that has hired him in the past knows what he is (or should)and anyone that will hire him now and in the future deserves what they get.

U.L. is pretty dang bad. U.K.'s defense and special teams looked very good imo but they were not playing against much.

Ky can start the season 4-0. Then with a win over Miss St and possibly Vandy that can give them 6. Can they win one of the other 6: Alabama, S. Carolina, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, or Tennessee?

This is what I expected but I thought it would be a little closer. UofL is flat out bad and if KY can't throw the ball a little then the SEC will be more than tough for them. I thought UK's defense would dominate the game and they did. I thought KY would be better up front and running the ball. I figured they might be down at WR and QB. They are. Thing is UofL was worse. I gave Cantwell more credit than he deserved and UofL's WR's are really bad. I don't see Krag lasting long at UofL.

Hats off to Coach Brooks, staff and the kids they dominated the game today. UK's defense is really good and I thought the offense was smart not forcing things. They will have to make plays down the road but UK's defense was 2TD's better than UofL all around today. The tide has turned between these two programs IMO. I said a few years back that UofL was getting better and UK worse. I now feel the exact opposite. This was a big win for the Cats bowl wise just as the Ark + South Car games are IMO.

Great job CATS!!!!!!! Way to go into Louisville and dominate today!!

Maybe UL should have scheduled this game a little later in the season. It would have given Cantwell a little more time to get adjusted.:D

I picked them over:

Arkansas

Tennessee

South Carolina

I also see an upset, just one though amongst UGA, UF or Bama.

I actually see them just winning against Arkansas and either UT or SC but not both. I think hurdling both jinxes in one year is too much. (0-24 against UT? and never beaten Spurrier) but I feel one of them will fall.

Good win fo UK. But they still have a long ways to go. The offensive line must improve IMO. The defense as really good and should keep us in some big games this year and give us a chance to win.

It is time to finally paint over that Cardinal billboard on I64 West that says: We're Miles Ahead. I've hated that ever since it was put up.

I agree. UK's D will keep them in games. The O needs to play very well to win big games.

Just got back from the game...A few thoughts:

-First off, BIG hats of to UK's defense. They played mistake free, hard nosed football. They didn't hardly give up anything to the UL offense.

-I could not be more proud of UL's defense today....They played GREAT football today. I cant tell you how excited i was to see that fire back on the defensive side of the ball. 63 yards (i think) rushing to a team that was supposed to have an awesome backfield...I'll take it. Everyday.

-Turnovers. Lots of folks thought it would be an ugly game, and it was, especially for the UL offense. Cant give the ball up 5 times and expect to win any game.

-I thought the officiating was very good actually, minus the interference call on the punt.

-Doug Beaumont and Victor Anderson played HARD today. Very proud of them.

-Hunter Cantwell (rant time ) I will be the very first to say that Hunter Cantwell made me look like an idot today... I will take a double serving of crow on that one. I had full confidence that he would be able to direct the offense this afternoon, and I was wrong. Bad throws ALL day, poor decisions on where to throw the ball, taking entirely too much time to throw the ball (which can be attributed to UK's defense). He just wasnt getting the job done today, in any way. And what made it worse for me, it seemed to me that the offense quit in the 4th Quarter. Unaccepetable.

In the end, all that really needs to be said is that UK's defense won them the game, no doubt. The better team won today, and my hats off to the UK coaching staff and team for a job well done. Congrats Cats fans. :thumb:

Honest effort, just what I was thinking, I kept waiting for a speedy back or wideout to come flying into the picture and take down Pryor, noone to be found.

#32 made an effort but was probably out on a pass route.

The offensive line must improve IMO.

They seemed pretty solid to me...They didnt allow much for the run game, but I only remember one time UL getting to Hartline the entire game.

Hunter's receivers didn't help him out much either. Some of those balls should have been caught. Not all of them, but some.
