Is this the last game between UK and U of L for awhile.

I can't remember who told me, but I think they said that the 2008 season would be the last time UK and U of L played because the contract was up and U of L was going to start playing Flordia State in UK's place.

It was so funny listening to the excuses after the game out in the tailgate lot....I had a few tell me they are a Baseball and Basketball school.. I told them they for sure weren't a football school.

One more thing..if Hunter Cantwell is a 1st round propect for the NFL, then I'm a prospect for the NHL and I can't skate.

GO CATS!!

I thought both teams had strong defensive performances. UK's defense forced a couple of big mistakes by UL's offense which proved to be most of the difference in this one. Both teams have a LOT of work ahead of them in regards to execution on offense.

And another thing...If you're Cantwell, at 6'4", how do you get that many balls batted or tipped? It had to be at least seven or eight...

Unless it gets renewed (or has been already) the game at Commonwealth next year could be the last for a while... Let's hope it does!

The announcers felt that his long slow delivery enabled the defense to read where his passes were going so that they could get a hand in the passing lanes.

Hartine did okay for his first start. Hopefully he will continue to improve and if something happens and he starts playing bad, UK can always put Cobb in down the road.

It'd be a shame for it not to be renewed, IMO.

His throwing motion was very weird...

Agreed!

It must be something along those lines...I just couldnt figure it out.

Hartline did do good for his first start on the road against your instate rival. However, he needs to improve a lot if the Cats plan on going bowling again this year imo.

These 2 teams together will not win 10 games... this was a lessor of two evils game. The X vs. T game will be better.

That was what I thought I saw. Definietly a good call. Close call, but good call.

:thumb: No doubt that was a good call.

His mechanics aren't good. He needs a higher firing point.
