September 1, 200818 yr I still think Cantwell has a legit chance of being a 3rd qb on an NFL roster next year. Someone will look at that arm strength and realize they can "coach him up." That's one of the more impressive cannons I've seen in a while.

September 1, 200818 yr Anyone who thinks Hartline should be benched must have been watching a different game. No turnovers and great decisions. I realize he had the safety but his O-line completely hung him out to dry. He had nice touch on the ball and except for a long ball here and there he looked very level headed and did what he was suppossed to do, not lose the game. I doubt almost 100% that Joker told him to go out there and win the game, more like go out there and don't make plays that can make us lose. For a soph, I was extremely pleased and he outplayed a 5 year senior. :thumb: Hartline has a lot to improve on no doubt, but all things considered I think he did pretty good yesterday. He will only get better and he played within his abilities and showed good leadership. Aaron Boyd is expected to play next week and hopefully Kyrus Lanxter was just having 1st game jitters which resulted in several dropped balls. Cobb is a stud and needs to be on the field. We need him at WR badly imo and that is where he will get the majority of his snaps.

September 1, 200818 yr UGLY? I thought it was masterful exection, you don't have to have a dozen offensive touchdowns to make the game pretty. I don't know what game you watched but the one I saw was very ugly.

He only recruited players that won't take responsibility for their own actions and blame someone else, so it's the coaches fault when they turn out to be thugs 2. The officiating 3. The weather 4. It was the first game of the season 5. We lost 25 players from last year 6. Big Brother won't schedule the game when we want etc, etc, etc. Did you make that list up? Because unless we're reading different threads, I havent heard too many excuses from Cards fans...
September 1, 200818 yr Bottom line football is about Jim's and Joe's and UL doesn't have any. The overall talent of this team is bad. Recruiting needs to get stepped up and get back down to Fla. Attention Coach K: Nice kids are good for you program, they help your overall GPA. But they also get you fired. Go get you some liquor drinkers. They make plays. :laugh::laugh::laugh:
September 1, 200818 yr I don't know what game you watched but the one I saw was very ugly. I was rooting for UK, that is the difference, it was pretty for me and ugly for you because your offense looked awful and things snowballed fast. As for UK, their defense rocked, the main reason UofL offense looked so bad.
